I fluttered my eyes to open and revealed the slightly dark tour bus. I looked at my phone and it was 10:30 am. Which meant I had an hour and a half till rehersal. I tried not to think of last night as I took a shower and got myself ready, but it got the best of me.
"How could I let him do that to me?"
"Why did it have to be me?"
"Why do I always get played?"
"Why do I get so attached whenever I meet someone?"Was all that went through my head. I went outside to take a smoke as I drank my coffee. I let out a sigh as I took a hit. I heard the door open then close and heard some footsteps.
"Juliet?" It was Scout.
"Yeah?" I said weakly.
"Where are you?" She questioned.
"Other side." I mentioned. She scurried around to the other side and sat down besides me on the cold cement.
"What's wrong?" She looked at me puzzled.
"Nothing." I lied. She already knew what was wrong. She just didn't know how much I thought it was my fault.
"I don't believe you." She said.
"You already know." I said as I let out a drag of my cigarette.
"Yeah. It's still bothering you?" She asked.
I looked at her. "Yes it's still bothering me. I'm tired of thinking someone might actually like me then I just get played or I do something wrong and fuck it all up. So yeah it is still bothering me." I shook my head and leaned my head against the bus.
"Do you like him?" She asked.
"I don't know right now. I barely even know him. And it's only been a day. And he ready knows half of me because I'm stupid and just let everything out." I sighed.
"You're not stupid. He is for doing that shit to you. You didn't deserve that, and if that's the way he is when he's drunk then you don't deserve him. That's not someone you can trust." She rubbed my cold and bare shoulder.
"Thanks scout." I took one last long hit and put it out.
"It's 11:30, we should get going." She said as she got up.
"Okay." I got up with her and went inside to call the band that it was time to go. They followed out behind us. We met Kellin and Vic backstage and talked for a bit.
"Hey! How's my girl." He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist lifting me up.
"Nice to see you too Kellin." I laughed. He set me down and just had his arm around me. He was wearing black sun glasses along with an anthem muscle shirt with some black ripped skinny jeans. He looked good.
"It's nice to see you again." Vic smiled at me.
"You too! We're going to do sound check soon, so you guys should stick around." I smiled at them.
"Sure, OFCOURSE." They both said. I smiled and laughed at them.
"I think your boyfriend's looking for you." Vic slightly pointed at Andy who was looking at me and glaring at Kellin and vic. I rolled my eyes and turned back to my friends.
"He's been staring at you for a bit." Kellin added.
"He's not my boyfriend. And I don't really care. Shit went down last night and I don't want to talk to him." I spoke to vic.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Well, that's a good thing to do rather than to just pretend nothing happened." He replied.
"Yeah. Thanks." I slightly smiled. Daniel came up to me.
