"How was meeting your soulmate"

After they had set a plan, it was time to bring the team together. Natasha was sent to get Bruce Banner, Phil was getting Tony Stark or at least trying to. All that was left was to do was bring in Steve Rogers. But that was being taken care of by the father-daughter duo.

"Why am I here?" Jasmine asked as they arrived at the current location that Captain Rogers was in.

"Why not?" Her dad shrugs.

"I'm not a part of the avengers initiative and I'm sure I'd be a better help with search and rescue." She went on to explain.

He looked down at her and grinned, "Because I trust you."

Jasmine couldn't help but smile at his comment before speaking up again, "You know I'm surprised you didn't bring Coulson." They were going to see the Captain America.

He raises an eyebrow at her like she was ridiculous, "And have him embarrass me. He can do that on his own time, not mine." He scoffed.

"I think it'd be pretty entertaining." The pair chuckled upon entering the gym.

As they stood by the entrance of the gym they witnessed Steve going at it with a punching bag until it comes off the chain and flies across the room. Jasmine couldn't help but jump back a bit at his strength. He must have a lot of aggression. He steadies himself, breathing hard, and grabs another bag, but was cut short when Fury spoke up.

"Trouble sleeping?"

Steve paused, turning to the two glaring quickly before resuming to the punching bag, "I slept for seventy years, sir. I think I've had my fill."

"Then you should be out, celebrating, seeing the world." The Director responds, making Captain Rogers stop what he was doing, and unraveling the tape off his hands.

"I went under, the world was at war, I wake up, they say we won. They didn't say what we lost."

"We've made some mistakes along the way."

"Some very recently." Jasmine mumbled looking up at her dad trying to be quiet but was still heard by the two.

This caused Steve to really look at the girl. It wasn't the first time he'd seen her but it was the first time she'd been so close. He subtly checked her out, unintentionally, well kind of. Both Furys took notice of this causing the younger one's cheeks to tint a blush color and the other to narrow his eyes at the super soldier.

Once Steve took notice of the look he was receiving from the older Fury he composed himself, "You guys here with a mission?"

"I am." The Director clarifies.

"Trying to get me back in the world?" The Captain questioned almost sarcastically.

"Trying to save it." He responds as he hands Steve a file on the Tesseract, and other files on HYDRA'S projects.
