S.H.I.E.L.D is a governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence agency, tasked with maintaining both national and global security.

Any type of emergency that came their way was always a sign of bad news. Big or small these emergencies were treated with the best precaution and people. Blaring alarms, blinking red and lights, and frantic agents running around the building was never a good sign.

Jasmine knew it was bad so she immediately ran through the facility to find her 'uncle', Phil Coulson. Thinking of the many possibilities that there are to explain the situation. "What the hell is going on?" She asked as she found Coulson, who was helping evacuate the building.

He looked at her unsurely, "The Tesseract." Is all he replied with. "Come on, they should be landing." She nods following him outside to the helicopter pad.

As the helicopter lands the door slides open revealing Maria Hill and right behind her, her dad. "How bad is it?" He asked as he stepped out.

"That's the problem sir. We don't know." Coulson told him. We re-entered the facility, passing the fleeing technicians waiting to evacuate, "Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago." Coulson continued to inform them.

"NASA didn't authorize Selvig to test phase." Fury stated.

"He wasn't testing it, he wasn't even in the room. Spontaneous advancement."

"It just turned itself on?" Maria Hill questioned from behind.

"What are the energy levels?"

"Climbing. When Selvig couldn't shut it down, we ordered evac." Coulson told him.

"How long to get everyone out?" He looked at Coulson.

"Campus should be clear in the next half hour."

"Do better." My dad demanded.

Jasmine too was ready to walk away with Coulson, "I'm going to get Moose." But she was stopped by her father pulling her shoulder back.

"Coulson will get him." Fury turned to Phil and he nodded, walking away. "You come with me." He pointed as they continued walking down deeper into the facility.

"Sir, evacuation may be futile."

"Should we tell them to go back to sleep?" He said sarcastically, making Jasmine quirk a smile at the response.

Maria Hill notably rolled her eyes, "If we can't control the Tesseract's energy, there may not be a minimum safe distance."

He stops at the end of the staircase making the trio come to a halt. "I need you to make sure Phase 2 prototypes are shipped out." He tells her.

Hill was taken back at the order, "Sir, is that really a priority right now?" She questioned with a bit more angst.

"Until such a time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on. Clear out the tech below. Every piece of Phase 2 on a truck and gone." He gave her the order.
