Exiting the Triskelion Steve was outside waiting on his bike for Jasmine so that they could leave. As much as Jasmine hated it sometimes because of how frizzy her hair would get, she enjoyed riding on his bike. It was thrilling.

Upon reaching the Smithsonian Museum that Steve had been wanting to go see for a while, it was filled with a lot of observers, mainly children. The two walked hand in hand in their 'disguises' which really just consisted of baseball caps looking at the exhibits dedicated to Captain America and the Howling Commandos.

Jasmine could see the looks of sadness and discomfort that crossed Steve's face as he looked at the dedications to the fallen soldiers. The two walked over to a wall that had photos of him before and after his transformation.

"A symbol to the nation. A hero to the world. The story of Captain America is one of honor, bravery and sacrifice. Denied enlistment due to poor health, Steven Rogers was chosen for a program unique in the annals of American warfare. One that would transform him into the world's first super soldier."

"You were cute." Jasmine whispered as she saw the photo of a skinnier and shorter version of Steve appeared.

He had an amused smile as he turned to face her, "I was sick." He scoffed a bit.

"Doesn't make you not cute." A playful smile made its way to her lips making him crack on his own.

"You know even then I would have been taller than you." He pointed out seeing the height measurements that were also displayed. "By like an inch." Jasmine nudged him.

As the two were turning to walk further down the exhibit a young boy recognizes Steve and looks at him in awe. Jasmine watches as the blonde flashes him a smile and puts his finger against his mouth to indicate for the boy to keep quiet about him being there.

The two continued through the exhibit finally getting to the display that honored the Howling Commando Team. In a big display there are mannequins with the outfits that they had worn through the war and missions. "Battle tested, Captain America and his Howling Commandos quickly earned their stripes. Their mission, taking down HYDRA, the Nazi rogue science division."

Turning around they faced the display of Steve's best friend Bucky Barnes. JAsmine could feel Steve tense just looking at the picture of his fallen friend. "Best friends since childhood, Bucky Barnes and Steven Rogers were inseparable on both schoolyard and battlefield. Barnes is the only Howling Commando to give his life in service of his country."

"He'd be so proud of you." She whispered to him, wanting to give him comfort. Despite it being a long time since his passing, it still felt fresh to Steve and it will always hurt.

The two continued their way before walking into a screening room with a projector inside. The two sat on the bench occupied also by a mother and daughter as they watched an interview of Peggy Carter. "That was a difficult winter. A blizzard had trapped half our battalion behind the German line. Steve...Captain Rogers, he fought his way through a HYDRA blockade that had pinned our allies down for months. He saved over a thousand men, including the man who would...who would become my husband as it turned out. Even after he died, Steve was still changing my life." As her part ended Jazzy watched Steve pull out the compass that she had seen him carry very often. The compass with Peggys picture in it.
