it had been two weeks since the bomb went off at the andrew's home, and there was a lot to catch you up on.

for archie, the last few weeks had consisted of him meeting with the construction crew to help repair his house. unsurprisingly, veronica had pitched in some extra money to get the job done faster. it was now as if no fire had happened, but the garage was still needing some repairs archie offered to complete himself.

jughead, now needing to find a place to stay, moved into a new apartment with tabitha. it was nice, but their neighbors were extremely loud and their apartment had very thin walls. he also had been hired back at riverdale high.

veronica had opened up her casino with reggie and their relationship was going well. veronica had worked on renovating the pembrooke back to it's old days now that she had all of chad's savings.

betty. that's a whole different story. betty was working at the fbi most of the time, but would often come over to archie's instead of her own house a lot of the time. their relationship was going well.

cheryl blossom, the one and only, was in her words "as phenomenal as ever." but to those on the outside, she was a hot mess. she was now raising juniper and dagwood since alice was unstable. she also had started a school for girls, including britta.

toni was doing the best she could. working full-time as a counselor at riverdale high and as serpent queen on top of being a new mother, she was finding life very stressful. she had began seeing fangs, which seemed to be going awry. eventually, they called it off and fangs moved out finding it too awkward to live there.

pop's chocolate shop was repaired and ready to be open back for business. in fact, today was the grand re-opening..

                                                                                         ---

The core four sat at their normal booth in Pop's. It looked just as it always had, despite the fire having torn it apart and it being rebuilt.

Archie and Betty sat next to each other, while Veronica and Jughead sat across from them.

Just like old times," Betty smiled, sipping her classic vanilla milkshake.

"It's like deja vu, B," Veronica pitched in diagonal from her.

"It's just like when we would come back from cheering on one of Archie's boring football games and listening to Veronica cheer," Jughead said before taking a bite of his third burger.

"Betty, I wish you had continued cheering with us for the rest of high school," Veronica smiled, sadly.

"I really didn't fit the 'cheerleader' thing as much as I tried. I mean besides, I had a lot on my plate," Betty laughed.

"That's true," Archie smiled at her.

"A toast. To no matter where we are in life, always meeting up for some Pop's," Veronica smiled.

"Cheers," The four said as they clinked their glasses.
