RUBY'S POV
Tomorrow is Saturday.
Meaning that tomorrow is the ballroom event.
Monday night after my shower, I saw that Harry's bedroom door was shut, meaning that he was probably gone to bed.
I thought about our kiss the whole night.
Feeling his soft, warm lips on my own felt amazing. It made the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, me and Harry went back to the shooting range. He offered to take me back so I could practice. The first day, we practiced inside. The two other days, outside. I regretted just wearing a thin long sleeve shirt the first day, seeing how the weather is getting a bit colder now, seeing how we were now in the middle of September.
Dinner Monday was amazing. It was nice to see Alice and have a little break from my crazy new reality. I was on edge a little, looking around a lot to make sure no one suspicious was around. Alice being Alice, noticed. She asked me if I was okay. I had to play it off and say I was fine, but I'm sure she didn't believe me.
Other than that, it was nice to talk about random things. She talked to me about her one night stand she had not long ago, and said that she went back to his place 4 times after that.
"He's just sooo hot" she told me.
She asked me about the guy I saw. I was confused at first but quickly caught on and remember the lie I came up with when I left the club on her birthday.
I simply said that I haven't seen him again.
When I got back that night to everyone at Harry's, I knew something was wrong. Even if Harry told me over text that nothing happened.
He lied.
I understand why though. He just wanted me to have a good time with Alice.
I keep thinking about afterwards, and the guys left. I needed to taste his lips. Just for a few seconds. I think he can read minds because he leaned in and connected our lips together. I felt warm during it. We've only kissed two times, and those two times I found myself letting him lead the way. Until I pulled back.
I knew he was getting overwhelmed, by the huge bulge in his pants.
We haven't kissed since. He hasn't tried to, nor have I. Even though I wanted to.
I pulled away because I taught about how I didn't have a dress for tomorrow night. I wasn't about to show up in my short little black dress to some fancy ballroom. Harry so kindly offered to take me shopping, which I agreed to.
That's why we are currently in his car, going to the city.
"Any idea on what colour you would like for a dress?" He glances at me.
I take a moment to think. I haven't really thought about it.
My favourite colours are green and red.
Green, like Harry's eyes.
Red, like... cherry red.
"I'm not sure yet. I'll have to see what catches my eye at the store." I glance back.
"Hmm. I see."
"I hope wherever your taking me isn't too expensive. I don't really want to buy an expensive dress that I'm going to wear once"
"Don't worry about the price, darling. I'm paying." He says, amused.
I widen my eyes and stare at the side of his face, "what? No, Harry. Im not letting you pay for anything-"
