chapter 32

RUBY'S POV

My body feels relief when I catch Harry's eyes with mine in the waiting room. I immediately smile at him, making his eyes soften as him and Louis stand up from the couch.

"Hi baby" he says, kissing my cheek as I grab his hand.

I smile up at him and murmur a small hi, when Mike comes over with a large smile.

"They did great!" He grins, looking at me then at Alice. "I warned them that there's no kissing aloud" he teases.

"Thanks Mike," Harry chuckles.

"Not a problem. I'll see guys around, yeah?" He says, smile at all of us.

Louis gives him a hand shake and says, "we'll stop by soon. I have a couple ideas in mind"

"Great! Give me a text anytime and I'll free up a spot for you" he smiles, waving us goodbye as we walk to the door.

I can see Louis glance behind us in Vanessa's direction before we fully step out. I think I been saw a small smile appear on his face, making me smirk to myself.

"So?" Harry asks, squeezing my hand. "How was it?"

"It was alright. Hurts a bit but nothing I can't handle" I say proudly.

He grins down at me and pecks the side of my head. "I'm pissed that I can't kiss you though"

I laugh at him but find myself pissed too but it doesn't mean that we can't still touch each other.

"Why didn't we have to pay?" I ask.

"Mike gives us free tattoos all the time seeing how we used to come here all the time" Louis says.

Harry opens the car door for me and presses a quick kiss to my forehead before closing it back behind me and stepping in his own door.

It's like the 20 minutes that I was gone, felt like days for him. He can't keep his lips off of me but I'm not complaining. I just wish that I conked kiss his lips too.

"I'm starving. How about we get burgers?" Louis says, pulling out into the road.

"Hmm yes please" Alice says, making me chuckle at her slightly swollen lip. I have no idea how we're gonna eat without being in pain.

But right now I can't really feel much thanks to the cream but once it goes away, i'll be feeling it all.

After a few minutes, Louis is pulling in the driveway of the burger shop that me and Harry once went to the night of our attack. I can see him look around the parking lot, making me frown at his worried look. I look around myself and see nothing unusual. The parking is full with cars but no scary looking black SUV.

"I have drinks at home" Harry says, looking at Louis who's about to pull up to the drive thru speaker.

"Hello! What can I get for you?" A girl speaks through the speaker.

"Six burgers please" is all he says back, voice plain with no emotion.

"Okay! Would you like drinks with that?"

"No"

"Alright. Will that be all?"

"Yes"

"You can pull up"

As soon as we are away from the speaker, me, Harry and Alice all burst out laughing, making Louis look at us with a confused face.

"Can you be any less emotional" Harry laughs.
