RUBY'S POV
It's been three weeks since Harry's operation and he still hasn't woken up.
It's November 3rd today.
I talk to him everyday but still nothing.
It's been hard. It is hard.
But I don't give up. I won't let myself think that he won't wake up. I know he will.
I'm all moved into Harry's house, the boys and Al have been coming everyday to see me and Harry.
The first two weeks I've been sleeping in this hospital room on the little two seater couch that's in the corner of the room.
This week, I've been going home. The guys insisted that I go home and get sleep in an actual bed. I didn't want to at first but I knew it was their way in saying that our time is running out and Harry still hasn't woken up. I still come back everyday with a little hope, only for it to all disappear when nothing new happening.
Luca has been silent. Not one text, no surprise visits for anyone. That's a good and a bad thing. It's good because it means we're all still alive but it's bad because he's just planning something big.
My mom called me last week again because she was bored. Luca still isn't home. He keeps saying that he has to stay here longer than expected. I really don't know what to tell my mom when she calls. I want to tell her that I'm sitting in a hospital room with my boyfriend because Lucas men shot him and almost killed him. But I can't tell her that. Not yet anyways.
"I have to leave soon baby. It's 8:50pm right now. I have 10 minutes left with you until tomorrow" I say.
I don't leave a second before 9pm and I'm waiting by the doors in the morning waiting for the clock to hit 7am.
The others usually come at 12pm and stay until 5pm. They say that they wanna give me my time with him but I think it's just too hard for them to see him this way. It's hard for me too but I don't dare leave him alone when visiting hours are aloud.
I wanna spend the most time possible with him. I can barely sleep alone in our bed. I've been tossing and turning and waking up to Harry's side being cold and empty.
"I'll see you tomorrow baby. Maybe there will be progress" I lean down and kiss his hand.
I've been saying and doing that for the last three weeks.
Three really isn't our lucky number.
As I'm pulling my hand away, I feel something. A little squeeze. I snap my eyes to Harry to see no movement at all.
"Gosh Ruby. Now you're imagining things" I mumble.
But then I do see him move. He moved his hand again. Not a big movement but enough to call it progress.
"Oh my god!" I shout and run to the hall, calling for the usual nurse that comes in here.
She's really sweet. Her name is Celeste and she's in her twenties. She's a young, blonde nurse. She's really pretty.
"Ruby?" She comes running in, "is everything okay?"
"He moved! He- he moved!" I say, excitement taking over my body.
"What? Really? That's great! Let me check him out" she says, smiling at me and walking over to the machines.
"I was saying my goodbyes he squeezed my hand and moved his arm against after that." I explain.
"He is in fact waking up!" She says, and I see his eyes starting to slowly open.
"Oh my god! Baby- I-" my heart beating quickly as a grab his hand.
