Chapter 28-You weren't supposed to know

Paige's POV

It was early in the afternoon when Jake woke me from my sleep. "Good morning babe." He smiled wiping the hair out of my face.

"Good morning." I smiled.

"Did you have fun last night? I don't remember anything after we took our 5th round of shots." He laughed.

"I had fun. What do you think about them?" I asked nervously.

"They're alright." He said kissing me on the forehead.

"Ok, good!" I said with a huge smile. I wanted to tell Jacob about last night, but he finally like them and I didn't want to change that.

"We should leave soon." He said standing up.

"What time is it?"

"About 12:30."

"Ok, let's pack and than go say goodbye."

"Ok, sounds good."

I got up from bed and went to the bathroom to wash up. I put on the basic make-up. Eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss and foundation. I found a pair of ripped jeans and a pink crop top. I pair of black converse.

I packed all my stuff and Jake's, because he just threw it all in the bag. "Ready." I said.

"Ok let's go." He said grabbing the bag.

"Ok let's go say bye to the boys." I said opening the door.

"Let's go." Jake said joining me outside and grabbing my hand. We walked down the hall to their rooms. I knocked on Pat's first. He opened the door and smiled when we made eye contact.

"Hello Paige, and Jacob." He said coming outside of his room.

"We were going to head back to Abbotsford now, we just came to say bye." I said.

"Well it was nice seeing you again. Maybe we will come down to Abbotsford and visit." Pat said hugging me.

"It was nice seeing you too." I said hugging him back.

"And it was nice seeing you again too Jacob." Pat held out his hand for Jacob to shake.

"As it was for you." Jake smiled shaking Pat's hand.

We went to Bucky's room, than Diggy's than Tyler's, than Marty's. Camm's room was the only one we hadn't visited. I didn't really want to say goodbye, but than I would be being rude.

I knocked on his door and he opened it within seconds. "We were heading back home, and wanted to say goodbye." I smiled.

"It was nice to see you again and for you to come down and have some drinks with us." Camm said hugging me tightly.

His hug was amazing. He truly was an amazing friend. "Thanks for inviting us." I smiled into the hug.

"It was nice to finally get along with you Jacob." Camm laughed pulling away from the hug between him and I.

"It was." Jacob smiled.

We left the hotel room and got to the car.

I received a text from Camm.

Camm- I love you.

I didn't answer, just out the phone back into my pocket. How could he do this to me? He knew I was married and did not have feelings for him, other than a good friend.

"Ready to go?" Jacob asked once I had climbed into the car.

"Ready." I smiled towards him putting my on seatbelt.

"Ok let's go home." He said starting the car engine.

"Thanks for getting along with them Jacob, I really appreciate it." I smiled.

"Anything for my princess." He smiled putting his hand on my thigh.

On the way back home we pretty much talked about random stuff and let the music blare as we drove down the highway.

*The next day*

Jacob's POV

It was almost 1 in the morning and I couldn't get to sleep at all. I don't know what was keeping me up.

Out of nowhere Paige received a text. I decided to check the text. After all we are married and she shouldn't be keeping big things hidden from me.

The text was from Camm and it read "I can't stop thinking about what happened the other night. I'm so sorry Paige."

What?!

What happened the other night?

What was Paige hiding from me?!

Maybe I was wrong, what if she is hiding so many secrets from me? I don't care about the small ones, but this one has to be huge, if Camm is texting her at 1am!

I decided to put her phone back on the nightstand, I would ask her in the morning about it.

Paige's POV

"What happened the other night?" Jacob asked me when he walked into the kitchen.

My heart stopped. "What do you mean?"

"You got a text last night..."

"You read my text?!" I asked shocked.

"It was from Camm, he said he couldn't stop thinking about the other night. What happened?" Jacob said looking me in the eyes.

I didn't answer.

"What happened Paige?!"

I turned around and focused on the food I was cooking on the stove.

"He... He... He wanted me to go to his room, it was after you had fallen asleep. I thought he needed help with something. Instead he kissed me and tried to get me in bed with him. I told him to stop, he wouldn't stop kissing me. So I pushed him away and left the room. Nothing bad happened." I explained.

"Unbelievable." Jacob said.

"I'm sorry Jake." I said started crying, "I would never do anything like that to hurt you! I swear!" I was crying even harder now.

"I can't do this, I'm leaving!" Jacob stormed out of the house.

I fell to the ground and started crying harder than ever before.

After ten minutes of me crying, still on the floor, I heard the door open. "Jacob?" I sobbed.

"No it's Chanel! What's going on?!" She said rushing over to me and sitting down beside me.

I explained to her what happened the other night and today.

"Oh my god Paige!" She said hugging me.

"I wouldn't try to hurt Jake! At all! I didn't want anything like that to happen! I just wanted to spend time and have fun with my friends." I said starting to calm down.

"I know you wouldn't Paige. I will text Chris and tell him to go find Jacob, ok?" She pulled out her phone and started texting.
