Chapter 12-Broken Heart

Jacob's POV

I don't know what to do anymore. There is this other girl. I like her. But I like Paige as well.

I walk over to Paige's house to talk to her.

I knock on the door and Paige answers right away. "Hey I'm glad you came! I have something for you!" She smiles. I follow her inside.

We go into her room and she tells me to sit on her bed. She walks over to her drawer and pulls out a square shaped book, a scrapbook. "I made this for you. All of the times we have spent together. I love you." She hands me the book.

"Thanks. Um can we talk?" I ask while flipping through the pages of the scrapbook.

"Yea! What's up?" She smiles holding my hands in hers.

"Well I think we need some time apart." I look down at our hands that are now separated

"What?" She frowns.

"I need some time apart, and there's someone else."

"Who?" She asks, tears rolling down her face already.

"Tammy, I met her last week when I went for coffee." I explain.

"Why?"

"I love her more... I guess." I say tears rolling down my own face.

"But Jake." She says crying harder now.

I get up off the bed with the scrapbook in my hand and leave her house. Before I cry harder.

Paige's POV

I sit on my bed staring through the door until Jacob is out of sight. Why? I cry even harder into a pillow.

I hear the front door open. "Paige!" Chanel calls down the stairs.

"In here!" I shout in between sobs.

"Oh my god! What's the matter?" She says sitting on my bed and hugging me tightly.

"Jacob broke up with me for this Tammy girl. He says he loves her more!" I say almost screaming now.

"Awe Paige!" Chanel says brushing my hair with her fingers and squeezing me tightly.

"Why? I love him! I even made him a scrapbook!" I cry.

Chanel grabs a tissue off my bedside table and wipes the mascara that has run down my face. "Paige it's ok. He obviously let you go for a reason!"

"What was that reason? Because Tammy is better than me?"

"No that's not it! He left you because he wanted to see how much he loved you!" She explains.

"If he loves me than why did he let me go?"

"If he loves you he will come back. I promise! And he will come back! He loves you!" Chanel explains.

"Well this freaking sucks! I love him!"

"Paige, we need to get you out of your house!"

"No! I'm not leaving!" I say laying down on my bed. I stare up at the white tiled ceiling.

"Ok if you're not leaving, I'm not leaving. Except to get clothes! Be right back! Don't move!" Chanel says jumping off my bed and running out of the house. I let out a little laugh.

I go up to the kitchen to get some junk food. What better is there to eat than junk food after a break up? Nothing! I grab some gummy worms, gummy bears, all the chocolate bars I can find and some ice cream, tiger tail ice cream. My favourite!

Moments later Chanel walks through the door. "Holy junk food!" She laughs.

"I just got dumped, leave me alone!" I force a smile.

We go into my room and put on The Little Mermaid. Just because we can!

Chanel's POV

I know Jacob loves her! I know it! He won't be gone for long! Will he? Yes he will!

Me and Paige sit and eat the junk food while watching Disney movies, like we would have when we were little kids.

"Make-over time?" I ask.

"Sure! Can Zoe and Annie come?" She asks.

"Of course! Do they know yet?" I ask trying not to make her cry again.

"No, we will tell them when they are here though."

"Sounds good!"

15 minutes later Zoe and Annie walk in the door.

"Ready for my make-over!" Zoe says walking into the bedroom.

"Get over here you two!" I say.

"Were you crying Paige?" Annie asks. Paige nods.

"What happened?" Annie asks.

"Jacob broke up with me." She says a single tear rolling down her face.

"What!?" Zoe shouts.

"He'll come back, he loves her!" I smile.

"Yea, he loves you too much to let you go for too long!" Annie says hugging Paige.

"Thanks guys!" Paige smiles. "Ok let's start this make-over thing!" She laughs.

We decide we are going to do a fashion show.

We all dress ourselves for the "show".

Annie puts on a Hippie outfit.

Zoe puts on a modern day dress.

Paige puts on goth like clothes.

And I put on an 80s style outfit.

It was so fun modeling for everyone. We were all laughing. It was a pretty good night, other than Jacob breaking up with Paige.
