Chapter 19 - Rings and Walks!

Zoe's POV

I woke up this morning to an amazing text message on my phone.

Dave- Good morning beautiful! How was your sleep? <3

Me- Amazing! So was my wake up! <3 ;)

Dave- That's good! Get dressed we are going for breakfast! Be there in an hour.

Me- Ok love you! Can't wait to see you!

Dave- Love you too! And I can't wait to see you either!

I put down my phone and quickly get in and out of the shower. I put on a pastel flower dress and white flats. I put my hair into a neat bun.

I finish up by putting on some light

make up.

READY!

I can't wait to see Dave! It's been a few days, school is kind of getting in the way with stuff so it's hard to see him all the time.

I sit outside on the front porch, it's a beautiful day! The birds are chirping and the sun is shinning, not a cloud in the sky!

I see Dave pull into the drive way.

He is wearing a nice black tux with a blue stripped tie. He looks amazing! "Hello beautiful!" He smiles opening the door for me.

"Hello handsome!" I say climbing into the car. He smiles. "Where are we going to eat?"

"That new breakfast place, Cora's!"

"Sounds delicious!" I smile putting my hand on his free hand.

Once we arrive Dave looks at me and says, "Stay there I will open the door for you!" He runs around and when he opens the door he bends on one knee and says, "Zoe I have loved you for a very long time, since I laid my eyes on you! And I want to be with you for the rest of my life! Will you marry me?"

Tears roll down my face, "Yes!" I say as he places the ring on my finger. We kiss and I never want it to end, but it does.

"Let's go eat now!" He smiles pulling out of the kiss slowly.

"Let's!" I smile back.

We walk into the restaurant and it's beautiful!

"Table for two." Dave says to the woman behind the desk.

"Right this way!" She says with a huge smile.

"Here are your menus. Would you like anything to drink? Or start off with?" She says.

"Umm yes, I will take an orange jus." I say.

"Same for me." Dave smiles.

"Ok right away!" The lady says walking towards the kitchen.

"It's really nice here!" I say.

"But not as nice as you!" Dave says and I blush.

"Thanks!" I smile. He slides his hand across the table onto mine and holds mine softly in his.

"Anytime!" He says. The lady returns with our drinks.

"Are you two love birds ready to order?" She asks.

I giggle, "Umm yes, I will have some pancakes please!"

"I will have the fruit salad" Dave says.

"Ok I will be right back with your meals!" The lady smiles.

Dave's POV

About 15 minutes later the lady comes back with our meals.

"Thank you!" I say.
