Evie: Hey everyone! We're so sorry that we haven't done these in a while, but- Life gets busy!
Mal: From exhaustion and just plain work, we haven't been able to make these videos. But we finally have a break to see each other! "Queenly duties" takes a lot out of a girl, ya know?
Carlos: And high school exams...
Jay: *staring into space* And college exams...
Evie: So we're back and doing well! Now let's get to our question!
Carlos: Today's question is for Ben-
Jay: *plays an imaginary trumpet as if introducing the king. Mal and Evie join, followed by Carlos*
Ben: *laughing* Guys... Please...
Carlos: *after they stop* Okay, so the question is: Ben how do you feel about Hades and Maleficent being part of your family now?
Ben: *hesitates and glances nervously at Mal, who grins widely at the question*
Ben: I'm going to be completely honest, at first they... terrified me-
Jay: Ben, c'mon, we all know they still terrify you.
Ben: But... I don't know. They're interesting to talk to. And it's fun to see what characteristics Mal inherited.
Mal: Aww
Ben: *squeezing Mal's hand* I've always wanted a big family, and Mal kinda gave that to me, whether that family is related to her or not.
Carlos: Found family is the best family!
Ben: And I think we've been getting along pretty well!
Mal: My mom thinks you're suspiciously nice and my dad keeps plotting secret ways to get rid of you if you ever hurt me, but otherwise they say you're tolerable.
Ben: Progress! They haven't even given me a death glare in a while!
Mal: And they still hate your parents.
Ben: *sighing* Yeah, they... yeah.
Evie: Are you still kinda excited to have them in your family? I mean, if they ever warm up to you, and I believe they will, you'll have the coolest in-laws on your side in any battle.
Ben: *nodding* Absolutely! And one day I'll be brave enough to ask for baby pictures of Mal!
Mal: Uh...
Jay: What, are you going to ask Hades to play catch next, for father-son bonding.
Ben: *glances down at a list* Well-
Mal: *playfully nudging Ben* Small steps at a time, okay?
Ben: Yeah, you're right. I'll ask for the baby pictures first.
Mal: ...that's not what-
Evie: Oh, Doug's back with the kids! That's all the time we have for today! Bye everyone, and thank you for your questions!
