It was a relieving feeling to let it all out. At the same time, I feel a little embarrassed to do that in front of Juliane. Though she made me feel comfortable. After our meditation, she told me something that I was naive about.
"Uhmm I'm glad you wore the bracelet today," she said.
"I always wear it," I replied.
We have a few spaces between us. After I replied, she leaned towards me. "Well, haven't you noticed anything about it? Aside from the logo? Specifically the link?"
"Link? What link? I haven't noticed any link in the bracelet?" I was puzzled.
"Hahahaha!" She then laughs. "Aw gosh, the age difference is very noticeable. Or you're just naive in technology." She pointed out the grooves beside the logo.
"Well, the grooves here are the link. I thought you knew about this Spotify link craze. Anyways, get your phone. Connect to my hotspot. And open your Spotify app. I'll let you scan the bracelet." She explains.
"Wait. There is something in this bracelet? Oh my goodness I'm sorry I didn't notice." Yes, I'm not familiar with these kinds of technology. So, I pulled my phone out. I connected to Juliane's hotspot and she guided me through the app. I used it to scan the bracelet.
And low and behold a song came. "Wow! How did you pull this off?"
"It's a gimmick by Spotify. I hope you like this song. I dedicated it to you." She then looked me in the eyes. I was surprised earlier that I didn't notice the song title.
"God Only Knows'' by The Beach Boys. Woah, this song is very familiar. Why did you dedicate this to me?" I asked her.
"Uhmm just listen to the song first. Here's my headset. Connect it to your Bluetooth and listen to the lyrics." She instructed.
I have no idea why she dedicated this to me since it's a love song.
Wait.......
I wanted to ask her for an explanation but I need to hear the song first. I put on her headphones and I listen to the lyrics intently.
