It's been months since we became a couple, it's still surreal for me. Some moments are worth sharing with you.

1) My birthday.

I did a birthday vlog for my 27th birthday. I thanked my subscribers for some gifts that they sent to me. Of Course, that guy went the extra mile again. Since I love We Bare Bears, he gave me Panda, Ice Bear and Grizz stuffed toys. When you stack them together it's taller than me. 

Since he knows that I have opted to plant my garden, he sent me a box of seedlings and a basket of veggies instead of flowers. He also sent me a handwritten 3-page letter (oh my gosh it's like a novel). This is what it feels like if you have a professor/author boyfriend. Of Course, we called and I thanked him for these sweet gestures.

2) Christmas and Mini family reunion

My parents invited him to come here to celebrate Christmas. I'm happy he came but he needs to go home before New Year to celebrate with the Simillano's. We had a great time. He spent the night here in our house during our Noche Buena (Christmas eve dinner). 

December 26, we went up again to Lantawan for a family reunion (just a few immediate family members). We invited Tito Ben and Ashton to come with us but they declined. Of Course, it's a close-knit family reunion with a few friends. We practice the necessary protocols. And yeah, Sydney met my siblings, some aunties and uncles, and my Lolo. My cousins teased me as well. I think he just spent 4-5 days here.

Oh yeah, we also visited Tito Ben and Ashton to give them Christmas gifts. 

3) Virtual class

Oh, this is one of my favorites. I attended his virtual class. I was a guest speaker in his organized symposium with his senior class. My topic to them is the new normal career (freelancing) and the digital age of environmental advocacy. I know some of his students knew we were a couple cause I saw some of them commenting on our relationship-related posts. They smiled when I entered their zoom class. Of course, at first, we act professionally.

To be honest I feel like I'm talking to him as a teacher. Jeez brings back memories. Haha! Anyways after my presentation, we had a q and a. And yes one of his students asked if there is something between us. I laughed at first and we said yes in chorus. The whole class goes berserk. I let him speak to introduce me as his girlfriend. Twas fun actually to see their reactions to "Kilig" haha! Yep, I'm here to share knowledge with his students. Of Course college kids. It adds a little spice to the presentation haha!

I can see that he is blushing from the cam. And he told me it was the first time he introduces his girlfriend to the class.

While I'm talking to you guys, I'm actually here in Metro Manila. Specifically in Naia Airport. I came here in the Metro to process my papers going to Canada. As much as I'm torn to stay, I need to go. It's my lifelong dream. And I'm happy that I have a very supportive boyfriend. My work will be in Canada and the USA. But it's easier to process my US visa once I'm settled in Canada.

I'm anxious to go abroad because of the intense racism against Asians specifically in the USA. Sydney is also worried.

*Honk

Oh, I think it's him! I saw an Orange Toyota Wigo parked nearby. He called, came to me, and said, "Ga! Welcome to the Metro Lin ay sang Silay (Muse of Silay)!" He was about to hug me when I stopped him.

I replied, "Soon! I need to take a bath and distance myself from you for just two days till my results will come in ok? Patience Ga haha! Here just an air high-five."
