First Dates

===N===Juliane's POV===N===

After the shenanigans online and offline, we decided to take our first date as a couple. Since it's still pandemic, we just choose places where fewer people are coming in.

I fetch him by 7/11. Ah damn, I remember coming here before he was just out of my league crush. Ah! I still can't believe he's my boyfriend now.

I waved at him as he came into my car. "Let's hurry up as it's unloading here. I might get towed."

"Thanks for fetching! I really wanted to drive you and of course, fetch you." He said.

"Wait for your time in Manila. Haha!" I replied. I started the car and drove. I asked him, "Where's the first destination?"

"Where do you want to go? Any errands?" He asked.

"Hmmm. It's quite hot yet to go to the Ruins." I'm confused about where we will go. And I can't remember a desire before that I just forgot.

"Wanna go to Booksale or NBS?" He asked.

Then I remembered it! I wanted my first date with my boyfriend to be in a bookshop. Gosh, how does he know? "Wait, I forgot about this for some time. How did you know that I wanted my first date with my boyfriend to be in a bookshop?"

"Orion told me." He then smiled.

"Wait, when did you two start to chat?" Oh my goodness Nong Orion! I bet he's the one who chatted with Mel first. I knew him!

He said, "Well he added me as a friend on FB. I accepted it then he congratulated us on our relationship. Then I thanked him. And he gave me a hint. He said, "If you know Juliane you know where to bring her on your first date as a couple. You're an author so you should know that."

Damn! I knew it!

"Oh my goodness that guy! I thought you two had a buff before. The way you look at him you're kinda jealous. Ok, I'm gonna be honest with you. He was my crush before but that was long ago. Wait, do you know?" I told him.

He replied, "Hmmm. Well kinda. I know you two are very close. And the way your friends commented on your photos, it's obvious. But we've already talked."

What the..."Wait! I never told him that I have a crush on him before? Did he know?"

"I think he knew. I can see his protectiveness to you. As a man, I can see you are special to him but on a sibling level." He replied.

"What did you two talk about?" I asked.

He said, "Hmm, secret haha! I admit I was jealous of him before but after our talk I understand him."

"Well, I can assure you I'm just his little sister. He may be single right now but his love is in Iceland. And he said he will get her. And I'm happy for him." And while waiting for the traffic I told him, You know what, I'm glad my feelings for him didn't go beyond that because my heart was for you."

I can see he blushed. "Thank you, Juliane."

He was about to hold my hand when I said, "Alcohol first, and later, I'm driving. Hehe!"

"Oh sorry." He apologized.

We then arrived at the Mall to go to Book Sale and NBS. We entered the mall and of course, we are in safety gear. Face mask and face shield and all. Before entering the Book Sale, he asked if I'm ok.
