Chapter 6, New Eyes and Enemies

"Dovahcom, can you tell Smyths to come here?" Asked Katherine as she had Abrahm lay down on the bed. "Of course, Kat... Sending a message to him now." Answered Dovahcom as he sent a message to one of the Smyths and advised him to bring a first-aid kit as well... "Katherine, May I ask about what happened?" Asked Dovahcom as he scanned her battle scars along with Abrahm's and just by the look on her face, so he knew something went south. "Tch, that God damn Omen child attacked us and he was even able to kill Katherine and before he could try to finish me off, she came back and saved me... The thing is that I'm just not sure as to how though." Answered Abrahm as he sat up on the bed and clenched his fist tight as he grabbed onto the bedsheets... "Ah, well if it's of any comfort, Sire, then I was able to detect a strong trace of power flowing throughout her body while scanning both of your wounds." Explained Dovahcom as he heard a knock and went to go open the door for Smyths who gestured Abrahm to take off his jacket and shirt so that he could bandage his wounds. "And what did you find out from the scannings?" Asked Abrahm as he looked at his friend while softly wincing in pain because of how deep the wounds were in his left forearm and leg... "Well, it's from the Dimetrix, Sire." Answered Dovahcom. "Wait what? But how is that possible!?" Shouted Abrahm as he looked in between Katherine and Dovahcom and growled softly to himself as Smyths cleaned and bandaged his wounds... "I'm not sure... As I was dying, I felt the light of the Dimetrix shine on me and I looked up at the emblem as my eyes slowly began to close but I knew that my sworn duty to the Renegade wasn't over... I knew that I had to live and protect you then I woke up and felt a strong feeling beat in my heart and I saw that you were about to be killed by the Omen child so I quickly ran to your aid and well, you know what happened after that, Abrahm." Said Katherine as she looked at Abrahm and smiled softly. "Ok, well the wounds are deep but not too bad... I think that over about a week or so then they should heal." Explained Smyths as he packed up the first-aid kit... "Alright, sounds good... Thank you, Smyths." Said Abrahm as he put his jacket back on and sat down on the bed. "Your welcome, Sire, just be sure to call for Dr. Yutar if anything changes." Suggested Smyths as he left the bedroom and closed the door... "Hm, If I may ask, Katherine, what does this new transformation look like exactly?" Asked Dovahcom. "Sure, I'll show you..." Answered Katherine as she closed her eyes and her new form revealed itself... "Well that's interesting... My scans show that 50% of power from the Dimetrix resides within your body, Katherine." Observed Dovahcom as he continued to scanned her entire body and the sword that she weilded. "Hmm, It seems that your wings, eyes, and the emblem engraved on the middle section of your sword also shows that you've got a strong connection between the Dimetrix." Said Dovahcom as he explained to Kat and Abrahm about the great amount of power that she held... "I see... Well I guess this will make my work a hell of a lot easier from now on." Chuckled Katherine as she reverted back to her normal form and smiled. "Heh, It would seem so... Hmm, I wonder if that's why you were able to wake up from Death and fight against the Omen Child." Acknowledged Abrahm as he looked at Katherine with a smile on his face... "Maybe... But anyways, I better head out, I just got a text from Smyths saying that Yutar wants to talk to me at his clinic." Said Katherine as she got her stuff and headed for the door. "Probably about me, I bet." Scoffed Abrahm as he watched Katherine head towards the door... "Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it but who knows... Maybe it could be about something different." Suggested Katherine as she left the room and walked out of the Domeplex as she made her way to Yutar's medical clinic. Abrahm growled softly as he instantly felt a strong pain in his eye... "A-agh! Ah, Shit... W-what in the hell is happening!? M-my eye! It feels like it's on fire!!!" Abrahm muttered as he covered his right eye with his hand. "Should I call one of the Smyths for you, Sire?" Asked Dovahcom as he tried his very best to comfort his life-long friend... "N-no, no, it's fine... I'm fine." Answered Abrahm as he went to his office and tried to occupy himself with his work, no doubt that Kat would scold him about straining himself again. "Hey, so I got your message." Said Katherine as she walked into the private clinic and knocked on Yutar's office door... "Great! Come on in, Katherine... The door's unlocked!" Shouted Yutar from the other side of the door. "Thanks, so what did you want to talk to me about? Is this about Abrahm??" Asked Katherine as she entered the room and sat down next to a nearby window and looked at Yutar with a curious expression on her face... "Yeah, I just wanted to see how he has been doing as of late." Answered Yutar as he sat at his desk and looked at Katherine. "Are the pills working? How's he been doing in regards to his sleep schedule??" Asked Yutar as he over looked at Katherine and he knew that there was something going on inside her head and even noticed that her eyes were also a very different color... They were no longer violet anymore, they were now a mix of yellow and orange. "The sleeping pills do seem to be working so far and the nightmares seemed to have toned it down a bit... He seems more relaxed when he's with me as opposed to being alone." Answered Katherine as she looked out the window... "Y'know, Kat, you seem to be happier than normal and I've noticed that your eyes are a different color as well... So what changed?" Asked Yutar as he looked at Katherine's eyes. "I'm not really sure how to explain it... But Abrahm and I got attacked by someone and as I struggled to try and protect Abrahm, they killed me but as I was bleeding out, the Dimetrix brought me back and it changed me... And it's made me become much stronger as to how I was back in the past." Katherine answered as she turned towards Yutar and smiled softly until she felt a stinging pain in her right eye and in her chest as she fell onto her knees and Yutar immediately came to her aid and knelt down beside her. "Kat! K-katherine, are you ok!? What's wrong!?!" Asked Yutar in a worried voice as he tried very hard to understand what was happening... "My eye! My chest!! Ngh, It hurts so much!!! I-it feels like someone kicked me hard as if they were trying to knock me out! W-wait, I can... I see someone!!" Answered Katherine as she held her head in pain and her eyes began to twitch. "What? Wait, who do you see?!" Asked Yutar as he did his best to help Katherine and ease her pain... "W-wait, I can see Abrahm!! It looks like he's fighting against someone!! Shit, I need to go back to the Domeplex now!!!" Shouted Katherine as she ran outside and flew back towards the Domeplex and saw someone in a cloak carrying an unconscious Abrahm over their shoulder.

"HEY! LET HIM GO!!" Shouted the woman as she charged at me in an attempt to make me release the ruler of Nadoria... Ha! There's no way I'm letting this bitch ruin our plans. "Ha, ha, ha, ha! Have at her, Boys! I'm getting out of here!!" I shouted as I laughed and snapped my fingers as some of my fellow colleagues appeared from their hiding spots and tried to keep her at bay but to my surprise, some of my men were getting beaten to a bloody pulp as the girl used her massive wings to dispatch them... Interesting, maybe we should've gone after her instead and she does look a bit familiar now that I think about it. Ah, well it doesn't matter now anyways, we got what we wanted! I quickly run through the facility and managed to avoid some of the Biotides and guards roaming all around the halls and I nearly get myself caught by them a couple of times but still manage to escape the Domeplex and my crew and I soon make it back to our hidden base that lies within the Baltorne woods... Hopefully the remaining people from the tribe don't find out about us and what we've been doing as of late... Well, now that we finally have the great Abrahm Valentin within our grasp.
