You and your girlfriend, Jinsoul were walking on the sidewalk while holding hands.

“Hold on babe, I'll be right back!” Jinsoul smiled and ran somewhere.

You waited for Jinsoul and stayed there.

Jinsoul came back with a pink teddy bear holding a heart.

Jinsoul gave it to you as you took it.
You had plenty of teddy bears given to you by Jinsoul. You really did love the teddy bear, but wanted to pretend you didn't like it. Just to prank your girlfriend.

“I already have a lot of teddy bears you gave me at home, Jinsoul!”

“But this one is special, (Y/n)!”

You pretended to sulk so you decided to throw the teddy. You were only just planning to drop it on the ground but ended up slipping and throwing it on the road.

“Oh, no!” Jinsoul exclaimed as she ran to get the teddy bear.

“Jinsoul, wait!” Just as you were about to grab Jinsoul, a truck hit her. Her body flew six feet away from the truck as the impact went mostly to her head.

You felt as if your world suddenly began caving in. You could barely move, unable to process what just happened.

You didn't mean to throw it on the road. You didn't think Jinsoul would run there to get it.

A crowd of people started to gather around Jinsoul, as well as the driver who stepped out of the truck.

"Jinsoul!!" You cried out as you saw your girlfriend covered in her own pool of blood.

You hugged your girlfriend's unconscious body, getting covered in her blood.

“Someone call an ambulance! Please!!” You sobbed, still hugging Jinsoul. Many of the women there, probably in their mid thirties, felt awful at the scene and one offered to call the ambulance.

Once the ambulance arrived, the people who were gathered there, stepped back so they could get Jinsoul into the ambulance.

You stepped into the ambulance with them as they rushed Jinsoul to the hospital.

You ran, along with the nurses with Jinsoul on the wheeled stretcher. You cried, begging for Jinsoul to please be okay.

You arrived at the door of the Emergency Room. “I'm sorry ma'am, please stay here." One of the nurses said and closed the sliding door.

You sat down, feeling completely numb. The truck driver suddenly stood in front of you, looking guilty and scared.

“I’m not going to sue you. Please go home.” You pleaded, unable to take any more of what's going on.

The driver apologized numerous times before thanking you. Earlier at the scene, you saw a woman in the truck, covering a little boy’s eyes as the driver went out of the truck.

You'd assumed that the woman was his wife, and the little boy was his child. You didn't want anything bad to happen to his family. So, you let him go.

“(Y/n).” Your brother called out to you. You looked at him with tired eyes. You ran to your brother, hugging him.

He hugged you back as you sobbed in his arms. “Hey, hey. It's okay. She's going to be okay. Don't worry.” Your brother said, rubbing your back to comfort you.

Suddenly, you fell unconscious. Your brother held on to you and called for nurses. You completely blacked out.

After 10 minutes or so, you woke up. You were laid on a bed with your brother beside it. You looked at you, concerned. You saw your parents in the corner of the room.

Your Mother ran to you to hug you. “My baby.. are you okay? What happened to you?” She asked, sobbing. Your Father seemed equally concerned, rubbing your Mom’s shoulders to comfort her.

A doctor came in to check on you. He smiled at you and walked towards your parents. “Your daughter just had a panic attack. It could have been caused by stress, or other causes that could trigger panic attacks. But, She'll be okay.”

Your parents thanked the doctor. “Where’s Jinsoul?” You asked. Your brother and parents looked at each other in concern.

“Where’s Jinsoul??” You exclaimed. You hurriedly stood up from your bed and ran out fo the room. Your parents and brother followed you. You arrived in front of the Emergency Room and ran inside. “No. (Y/n), Don't!—” Your brother tried to reach for you but you had already gone inside.

As you went inside, you saw a body that was covered with thin, white cloth.

The nurses looked at you and to the doctor. They informed the doctor that you were her “guardian” so you knew it was Jinsoul.

“No.. this can't be.. it's not Jinsoul right?” You thought to yourself, still unable to believe it was your girlfriend.

You removed the cloth and saw your girlfriend's pale and lifeless body.

You fell to your knees and started crying your eyes out. Your parents and brother looked at you in pain. They had never really thought you would end up dating a girl, but they didn't stop you from doing so. They let you love the way you wanted to.

You wanted to hold and caress Jinsoul's face. Your hands were shivering, yearning to hold Jinsoul.

“Love, no.. Please.. Jinsoul..” You cried out, hitting your chest repeatedly. Your heart was burning as you cried.

“Solie, I’m so sorry!!”

By the time Jinsoul’s parents had arrived, you felt tired. And once again, you blacked out.

At the funeral, you stared at the ground expressionlessly as Jinsoul's mom
yelled at you and slapped you.

“This is all your fault!” She cried out, trying to hit you as her husband held on to her, trying to stop her.

Direct to the point, Jinsoul’s parents were homophobic. They thought that by dating you, you were ruining Jinsoul’s life. And still, Jinsoul chose to date you.

You felt numb, emotionless. It was as if nothing even mattered anymore.

Many eulogies in and your brother went over to you. “Hey.. uhm, (Y/n)?” Your brother called out to you.

You didn't budge and continued staying seated as you heard the priest speak from afar.

Your brother put something in your hands. A thing that made you tear up a little.

It was the teddy bear that Jinsoul gave you on the day of the accident. It was basically torn. The spring that was holding the head and the body could be seen, and the heart the teddy bear was holding, was now ripped apart.

“This was found in the scene and said i'd give it to you. I’ll leave it to you okay?” You still couldn't say anything, so your brother just sighed. He looked at you sympathetically. “It's your turn, (Y/n). Let's stand up.” He got you to stand up as it was your turn to state your eulogy.

You stood in front of the mic. You were about to speak when you looked at the teddy and saw a button in the torn apart heart. You decided to press the button.

“marry me!-e-e..e-e..” The teddy said as the voice in it slowly became completely distorted.

You looked at the bear in shock and fell to your knees. You started sobbing again, unable to state your eulogy with the immense pain you're feeling.
