you were walking to your next class while clinging on to your best friend, Son Hyejoo's arm.

you, a cutie is best friends with a girl who is almost like the spawn of satan. joke. Hyejoo is really thoughtful and caring. she protects you from anything and everyone.

(story time when you and Hyejoo met) it was when Chaewon had just left with her parents to go to England. you had no other friends.
then you saw Hyejoo in the playground, sitting on the ground, looking at nothing with her face all blank.

"Hi!" you tried to make friends with the scary looking girl in front of you.

she just looked up at you who was standing and stared at you blankly.

"I'm (Y/n)! and you are?" you tried your best to socialize because you needed a life where you had friends or you would combust.

she didn't answer you and just continued staring at you.

you just took her hand and dragged her to the seesaw.

you made her sit on one end as you sat on the other end. she actually moved on the seesaw, her face still blank but she was actually playing.

you kept going "weeee!" and laughing and that actually made Hyejoo smile.

"Oh My God!!! you're smiling!!"
you jumped on her in shock. she was actually still smiling, she was having fun with you.

"wow! you smile????" you looked at her in shock.

"Hyejoo."

"Huh?" you looked at her in confusion.

"My name is Hyejoo, Son Hyejoo."
she smiled at you with that cute gummy, eye smile.

"OH MY GOD YOU TALK????!!!"
you looked at her even more shocked and that just made her day.

"soooo, i asked this girl out" Hyejoo started. you looked at her in shock and excitement.
"oh my God,, really?? what's her name, what's her name??" you asked while jumping up and down while stil clinging on to her arm so this made her wiggle around lazily.

"Choi Yerim." Hyejoo smiled brightly. "OH MY GOD. best friend?? i love you but please don't complicate things this time" you pouted at her. "we both know that whenever you ask a girl out, you feel scared that they might leave you and just as it gets more serious, you end things. please tell me you won't do it again" you looked at her sadly.

you also know Yerim but just when your friends talk about her.
she's a big ball of sunshine and your friends would often say that you and Yerim would be fluffy happy besties and would get along if ever.

you didn't want Hyejoo to hurt anyone and herself anymore.

"don't worry, (Y/n), i love Yerim too much for me to do it to her as well.
