Jinsoul was walking through a field of hydrangeas and dandelions, inhaling the fresh air.

Jungeun happened to have been in the same field.

"Oh, Jinsoul." Jungeun called out to the girl who was facing up, smiling while inhaling the air.
She looked ethereal, as if she was in a drama.

Jinsoul then noticed the younger calling out to her.

"Oh, Jungeun.. hi" Jinsoul smiled.

It had been 7 months since the two broke up.

Jungeun still can't get over the older, meanwhile, Jinsoul didn't feel and couldn't force herself to feel anything for Jungeun anymore.

"It's been a while." Jungeun laughed wryly.

"How are you?" Jinsoul smiled. It was obvious to the brunette that the blonde had moved on.

"Great!" Jungeun forced a smile.

"I saw your post with Jiwoo, how are you guys?" Jinsoul asked.

"We're good." Another forced smile from the younger. She looked at Jinsoul from her lips to her eyes. She still had those gleaming eyes and the dazzling gaze that Jungeun fell for.

"Good to know!" Jinsoul smiled. She had always been so genuine with her feelings, which is exactly why she let go of Jungeun. She knew she couldn't feel anything anymore and didn't want to put Jungeun or herself in a hopeless love.

"I miss you, Sol.." Jungeun whispered but Jinsoul heard it. Jungeun had the urge to run to Jinsoul and cry in her arms, inhaling her warm scent of vanilla.

Jinsoul never really thought she would say anything back to what Jungeun had just said, but unknowingly to her, she would respond with, "I miss you too, Jungeun." She smiled, less emotional but still with a little sadness.

She saw a withered flower standing out among all of the other, fresh flowers.

Jungeun was then reminded of what she had done to Jinsoul before. She remembered falling for Jiwoo while having been in a 6-year relationship with Jinsoul.

She remembered telling Jinsoul that she wasn't cheating on her with Jiwoo but it was in fact, true. She cheated on Jinsoul with Jiwoo, thinking she had fallen out of love with the older.

Jinsoul, at first, denied to her friends, parents, and even herself that Jungeun would ever cheat on her. but then she decided to confront jungeun. She didn't want to be in a relationship where only she had love left.

Jinsoul confronting Jungeun was all it took for the latter to tell the truth and walk out of the former's apartment, absolutely nonchalant.

By the time Jungeun had realized she still loved Jinsoul and would pick her over Jiwoo, Jinsoul was the one who fell out of love. Jungeun wanted to return all the love Jinsoul had given her, but it was too late.

Jinsoul didn't feel anything for her anymore. She was afraid of getting hurt again.

"I have to go.. Take care?” Jinsoul looked at Jungeun with a small grin.

Jungeun nodded.

Jinsoul inhaled more of the fresh air and slowly walked away from the field. Away from jungeun.

The farther Jinsoul got, the louder Jungeun spoke to herself in despair. “I still love you.”
