"Mama Mia, here I go gain. My, my, how can I resist you? Mama Mia, does it show again? My, my, just how much I've missed you?" She belted out the song, dancing as she lost herself in preparing the first meal she had eaten in over 12 hours, letting herself forget that she looked a mess when her best friend showed up on her door.

Speaking of him, why did he not call first? He usually did. What was going on that he felt the need to semi surprise her. If she hadn't been at the school so late she would have had time to respond to his interview, his announcement that he was flying out to see her. She could have prepared, but she had to catch the recording she had of a previously recorded interview.

"Mama Mia, it's a game we play. Bye-bye doesn't mean forever,"  Sebastian's voice rang out, interrupting her thoughts.

"Sebastian!" she screeched as she whipped around, clutching her chest. "I can only handle so many surprises tonight!" she exclaimed as she took note of the two bottles of wine in his hands.

"I'm sorry! I thought you heard me singing as I came down the stairs!" Sebastian chuckled, setting the bottles of one down on the counter. "I brought refreshments, because life has been hell, but you look like you could use it, too. Maybe I should have brought 3 bottles with me?"

"Goddamn it, Sebastian," she muttered, shaking her head with a smile. If she wasn't careful, this would go from a crush she thought she'd gotten over, to full blown feelings.

A frown etched her face as she thought of the implications of that. Sebastian would never feel the same about her. Never. She couldn't let it go there. Not if she wanted her best friend to stay in her life.
