Chapter 6

I go back to Flynn's room and knock to her door but then I find that her room is locked from the outside which meant she wasn't inside, I started to get worried, I go back to my room after which I see that my room was already open, I rush to open the door where I see Flynn

" Flynn! I have been looking over for you everywhere! " I said with a relief,
" Yeah, not everywhere because here I am " Flynn said.
" What are you doing here? " I asked.
" Nothing " Flynn said. But I clearly saw that she had messed up my bedsheet and pillows and was about to do something else too before I entered the room.

" I should be going, don't want to stick around a friend who lies to me " Flynn said,
" OK Flynn listen, will you be my friend again if I tell you the truth? " I said.
" Yeah, of course but you have already broke my trust and faith, you lied to me, I always believed in you, but now I surely won't " Flynn said as she starts to walk out, I then held her shoulders to stop her and spoke the truth to her.

" Oh, Flynn hear me out then, He is a cursed lifer, His name is Luke, I found him the other night in the closed museum where I was hearing the voice, he appeared from inside of a book, he was trapped in there for 25 years, somehow today he cheered me up and as I was singing you joined me too, to our surprise he was being seen by other people too, after the song ended he disappeared. " I said

"O-K" Flynn said taking out her mobile from her pocket and texting somebody,
" Who are you texting? " I asked.
" Your dad, now he really needs to take you to doctor turner " Flynn said.
" No, no, no, ok, meet me here tomorrow in the morning at 8, I will show you the proof of all of it "I said. 
" Not at 8, make it 9, I don't wake up this early" Flynn said
" Ok till then promise you won't text dad " I said
" Fine, tomorrow at 9 " Flynn said. " Yeah " I said, I needed to find Luke early tomorrow, as I go to sleep.

*Next Day*

I wake up at 8, it was already late, I got ready and went out to look for Luke, I told him to take rest in any empty room, but the hotel was really big and I wasn't sure which of them was empty, I looked for him in the dining hall, the waiting room, parking lot but he wasn't there anywhere, maybe I shouldn't have told Flynn to come this early.

After looking for over half an hour, I finally found him in the garden, he was lying in the side of dahlia flowers, it was my mum's favourite flower.
" Luke! I have been looking all over for you! " I said as I notice him come out of a deep thought. " What happened? " He asked
" I was wondering if you could do something so that it gets proved that you are a cursed lifer, whose definition even I still don't know " I said.
" Yeah sure! a cursed lifer is som-" Luke said after I cut off him.
" We'll talk about it later, we should be going now " I said as we start running back to my room.

" By the way, do you know my mum loved dahlias so much " I said.
" Really? my mum loves them too! " He said after which his smile fades slightly.
" So what's the time? " He asked changing the topic.

" Oh no! it's 9 already " I said as we rush back and I see Flynn in my room already.
" Too late " Flynn said with her mobile in her hands.
" Flynn don't! " I said after which the mobile starts to fly in the air, Luke takes it from Flynn and starts to play with it

" What is it? How is my mobile in the air? Hey-Hey don't drop it! " Flynn said as Luke chuckles and played with it like a child.
" How is this happening? " Flynn said.
" that's  Luke, he's kinda playing with your phone " I said.
" Don't- don't drop my phone! " Flynn said.
" Believe me yet? " I asked

" Yeah, yeah, now tell him to not drop it or else I won't probably get my pocket money at least for a year " Flynn said.
" Keep it down " I said to Luke chuckling as he keeps it on the bed.
" You should have believed me " I said.
" I should had, so is there any way I could see him? " Flynn asked.
" Probably when we sing together " Luke said as he starts singing

"𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤, 𝐈 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮" as he hands me small paper from his sleeveless shirt's pocket

"when everything's dusk I find dawn in you" , Flynn now could see him

"𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠❜𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐈 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮"

" twinkling in the dark, it y-o-u " I sing as Flynn comes closer to Luke and tries touch his hands but it feels kinda weird when her hands just go through him

" Still texting dad? " I asked.
" Nope, I had my lesson, trust your bestie or else get your phone dropped " Flynn said as all of chuckled.
