"WE'VE GOT ANOTHER GIFT!"
Everyone cheered for Antonio as he got his gift, as what you saw, he can talk to animals and that is amazing.
The whole ceremony was full of tension as they watch the boy. It was somehow magical and you don't regret going here.
They all went up to look at Antonio's room and you went also to take a little peak. Mouth dropping, your eyes widened along with the others as you are greeted with a very large room, it's almost like a forest full with animals.
"Man, didn't expect his room to be way more cooler than my room." A voice beside you said making you jump in surprise.
You look at him and he chuckled.
"This is absurd. Don't you think so too, bonita?" He added as he smile at you softly.
You raised a brow. You thought you misheard it earlier but he's really calling you that.
"Why are you calling me bonita? I have a name you know." You said.
He titled his head to the side slightly as he gave you an innocent look.
"Because you are and another reason is because I don't know your name." He shrugged. "Mind telling me your lovely name?"
Well, that does make sense. You also don't know his name either.
"If you're asking for someone's name, you should tell yours first." You answered as you crossed your arms together. He grinned.
"Witty. But I'm surprised that you don't know me, haven't heard of me even for once? Shapeshifter or the handsome Madrigal?" He asked and you chuckled.
"I'm sorry if I don't know such amazing person." You joked and he frowned.
"Whatever, my name's Camilo Madrigal. My gift is shapeshifting and I'm one of the Madrigals." He introduced and offered his hand for a handshake.
You took his hand. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N)."
He smiled again. "What a nice name you got." He said as he shake your hand.
You were about to let go when he tightened his grip on your hand, but not enough to hurt you. You were about to say something about it when you notice him bow a little as you felt him kiss your hand.
He looked back up at you. You covered your face with your other hand to hide the blush you felt creeping on your face.
"I hope my name will be engraved in your mind, bonita." He whispered.
"Let's take a picture!" You heard his Abuela say, he let go of your hand slowly as he take a step backwards still facing you.
"I'll see you later, bonita." He said and you nodded.

Music starts playing, everyone dancing as they enjoy the food and drinks. The family Madrigal celebrating the newly gift they received from the miracle.
But your attention wasn't on them. Everything was fun, but you're just not feeling great and you can't figure out why you're feeling this way.
You decided to go out to get fresh air. There isn't even a single person on the corridors since everyone is in Antonio's room.
Walking around as you examine the place. You let out a scream when you felt the ground shake. You held on the wall for support.
"What is going on?" You murmured to yourself. As if the house is answering your question, you saw the wall crack. Your eyes widened as you follow it only to be led to the center of the house, where the candle is.
You stopped on your tracks when you saw Mirabel panicking just below the stairs.
"I got to tell them!" You hear her say.
"Yeah, better do that quick." You said and she looked at you in shock.
