"WAKEY WAKEY KID."
You slowly opened your eyes only to be greeted by a rat.
"Shit!" You quickly stood up as you throw the rat away.
Bruno quickly caught the rat as he caress it as he looked at you offended.
"Woah! You almost hurt her!" He said and you made a face.
"That almost gave me a heart attack!" You said as you pointed at the rat who looked at you traumatized.
Bruno gasped. "You do not point your finger at her!"
You rolled your eyes, getting tired at the silly argument. "What happened?"
"You fell down and your soul went for a trip for 2 minutes. Good thing I caught you before you went rolling down the ground." Bruno answered.
You stared in air as you try to process what just happened before quickly standing up causing Bruno to gasp as you realized what is happening.
"We need to get back to them! They must be so worried!" You said.
"Oh! We need to look for Mirabel and Mama! She's gonna get mad at her big time!" Bruno said as he point at the river from behind their place. "Saw her go there.
"Let's go then." You said but he stopped you. "What now?"
"We need a horse."
"And why is that? Let's hurry up!" You said but he shook his head. A horse for what? Did he hit his head?"
"I need a horse to escape with for good because I know Mama is mad at me." He said before looking around. You frowned.
You saw a horse running towards you and saw the little Antonio riding it's back.
"I got your back, the rats led me the way. I can't understand them because my gift is gone but hey! We still are friends!" He said as the rat jumped on his shoulder.
Bruno went to go up the horse as he pulled you up. You smiled at them.
"Thank you, Antonio and you the rat, sorry for pointing at you earlier." You said and Bruno laughed.
"Don't worry about it! Just hurry, Camilo is losing his mind." He said and you nodded.
The horse started to run at the pointed direction.
"You were in the vision." Bruno said which caught your attention.
"What vision?"
"The second vision I did. You were there helping and saving the family." Bruno said as he smiled at you. "I appreciate you a lot kid, thank you for helping."
The horse jumped to avoid the bush as you saw the river. The two of you immediately went down the horse in defend mode.
"She didn't do this! I gave her a vision." Bruno said as he tried to stand strong despite his foot getting tangled on the rope of the horse, you tried to pull it off but only making him fall down which made you wince.
"I was like go! And she was like pffff." Bruno said with hand gestures. You saw Mirabel and Alma look at him weirded out and you held in a laugh.
"Bruno-" You tried to call him but he shushed you.
"Not now. They only wanted to help, I don't care what you think of me! But if you're too stubborn t-" He was cut of when Alma hugged him making him stutter in his words.
You smiled as Mirabel walked towards you as she gave you a side hug which you returned with a grin.
"Hey, I'm alive?"
"As you should."
"I feel like I missed something important." Bruno said, Alma kissed his cheek as he was left there dumbfounded.
"Come on!" Mirabel said as she pull you towards the horse, all of you climbed on it.
"Can this horse handle us?" You asked. The horse stomped it's hoof as it ran back to the house. "Okay buddy!
When you reached the house everyone was there looking at you four, worried. As soon as you went down the horse with the help of Bruno, you weren't even given a chance to process what happened when you felt a hand grab your face as warmth lips touched yours. You closed your eyes to savor the unexpected moment as you hear everyone's teasing.
Camilo kissed you gently before backing away a little and pressing his forehead on yours. His breathing was heavy as you can feel him shake.
"Don't do that again bonita! I was so worried, I couldn't do anything. You scared the life out of me." He breathed out as he caress your face with his thumbs.
You smiled. "I'm sorry, querido."
"Don't do that ever again, well, it's not like I'll ever let you go if something happens." He said and that made you chuckle. You moved away so you can look at his eyes properly.
"Don't worry, everything's fine now." You say as you look at Alma who is behind you.
She nodded. "Yes, I would like to apologize also for the things I've said. I know I was wro-"
"Shush, enough of the drama." You cut her off and Camilo laughed.
"Sassy."
Dolores nudged your side. "I thought you and Camilo are only friends?" She teased and that made you laugh.
"What can I do? I do think Camilo is my soulmate. Don't you think so too querido?" You teased, repeating the exact words he said back then.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I guess so too, bonita."
"Enough of the flirting. We got a house to build!" Isabella but in as you stare at the broken house.
"We'll be fine." Agustin said.
"Not if we don't have a house." Camilo said and you nudged his side. "What? We don't have a house. I can't say we don't have a house? What is that, not a house?" He asked and you scoffed at him.
