"ALOHA! WE ARE HERE!"

I was having the time of my life on this Island and everything was perfect.

The bell boy we'd just passed by even gave me a hibiscus bloom to style into my braids, saying to me in a very charming but discombobulated English that, 'You're very beautiful'.

It made feel like a Princess.

I was all grins and skips as I sat down at the table Mommy Conti booked for us, sighing aloud.

"Where have you two been?" Romeo asked probingly, eyes flickering between Mario and I, "You guys disappeared again this morning."

Whoops.

"We just went around the area," Mario replied shortly, "We are tourists, are we not?"

Mario and I went on a scavenger-hunt for cute Hawaiian girls and boys in the morning. We didn't really find anybody worth pursuing but in the end walking around and getting lost was fun. What was the point in sleeping in when we were on a whole Island?

"We didn't go too far," I chipped in with an apologetic smile, reaching for the menu, "Sorry we're late."

"You're not the only ones that are late," Rosa remarked with an impatient huff, rubbing tissue over Rafael's mouth who had already begun munching ahead of us, "Eliseo too. Where is he? I thought I told him that we are all meeting for lunch at 12:30."

Instinctively, my eyes fell on the only empty beside me with a frown. Of course the only empty seat left was beside me. He was the one I was tying to avoid and yet the only chair available for him would be the chair next me.

Sigh.

I swore that I was going to make it up to him.

My behaviour towards him yesterday was terrible but it couldn't be controlled. I almost lost my mind when we unintentionally shared an indirect kiss last night. Something he obviously didn't take notice of it but I was loosing all sanity because of it.

It was a loosing battle when it came to him.

"I think he slept in," Romeo said reaching for his phone, "Let me just call him-"

"Don't bother," My best friend pointed forwards, "He's already here."

At the announcement I hastily straightened up in my seat, shoving my face behind the menu in an agitated motion and feeling like a nervous wreck.
