"Thanks everyone for being so supportive. I hope to meet y'all again." I can't do anything but watch as Amy slowly walks out of class.
Before I can continue, I have to go all the way back.
The day starts as per normal. I walk into class and head over to my seat. I lie down and fall asleep till I feel a tap on my shoulder.
Looking up, I see Amy. She looks great, but I haven't seen her in a while. She tells me that she has something to say later, and then quickly heads back to her seat before the teacher comes in.
I can't stop thinking about what Amy said. Could it be related to irregular attendance?
Time passes so slowly as I wait for Amy to tell me what she wanted to say. Soon it's the end of the day. I head over to ask what she wanted to say, but she walks away to the front of the class and as if on cue, the teacher comes in.
"Hi students, your friend Amy here has something to say to all of you."
Amy slowly steps up slowly, and starts.
"Hi guys, I know this may come as a surprise, but I'm leaving the school."
