Arlo

I had been sitting on the couch wrapped up in a warm blanket watching movies all day. Timothée had meetings a few meetings today so i decided to actually spend sometime alone without any distractions.

Call it intuition but i knew it was just too peaceful. Everything in my life was starting to go my way and i should've know that it was never going to last.

Sawyer came plummeting through the door with Troye by her side. I turned my head to the commotion and smiled happily seeing my wonderful sister and my best friend. I wasn't expecting Troye any time soon so it was a surprise seeing his face.

Both of there faces were painted with concern and worry which led to me sending them a puzzling look.

"Are you okay?" Troye said, breaking the silence. I smiled at him cheerfully. He turned to Sawyer and both of them looked at each other as if someone had just died.

"Yeah i'm fine, but you guys don't look like it." I laughed out.

Sawyer walked over to the couch cautiously. "Arlo I'm so sorry." She said in a whisper. My face dropped and I instantly thought the worst.

"What happened?" I said sternly. My once cheerful mood was now one of pure panic.

"Have you been on your phone at all today?" Troye asked. I shook my head and instantly got up on my feet and walked to my room. I ripped my phone from the charging cord and unlocked it as I crept back out to Sawyer and Troye.

I stopped mid step and felt my stomach drop.

"Arls I'm so sorry." Troye said walking over to me and wrapping me in his arms. Rage started flowing through my blood and my breathes became shorter and shorter. Tears ran uncontrollably from my red face and panic started spewing out of all my pores. My phone dropped out of my hands and shattered on impact.

"I - I ca-can't bre-breathe" I managed to say as my body struggled for air.

"Oh fuck." Sawyer said as she quickly ran to my side and cautiously lowered me to the floor. "What do we do?!" She said to Troye in panic.

"Fuck I don't know?" He yelled. I swung my head and followed their voices as my chest got tighter and tighter.

"Go to the draw and get a paper bag!" She commanded. Troye frantically ran to the kitchen and ripped each draw out with such speed that the sound echoed in my head repetitively. He sped back around the wall almost slipping on the hard wood floors. Sawyer reached her hand out and snatched the paper from his sweaty hands and shook it to try and open it in a frustrated way. Eventually she pushed it tight up against my quivering mouth.

I breathed in and out rapidly and felt my heart rate settle slightly. My eyes closed and I heard Troye's exhale through my pounding ears.

"I honestly didn't think that was going to work, i've only seen it in movies." She said with a slight giggle which caused Troye to join in and eventually myself. All three of us sat on the floor for a while as I wrapped my head around what had happened.
