A woman with gray hair and dark eyes greets me with a neutral expression. The line of her mouth is straight. I am lead to a room and seated. I buckle myself and look around. Everything is bland except for a splash of red on a cushion.

A man walks in and sits down across from me. He looks at me up and down and finally opens his mouth and speaks in a very deep voice, "Catherine, why did you turn yourself in?" He asks and I'm taken aback but I answer.
"Because I am done."
"With what?" He asks.
"Running."
"And let me ask you this, why aren't you afraid?" He asks raising his eyebrows.
"Who said I wasn't?"
