He jumps from his seat, grabs my hand, and we run down the hall and out of the Safe House within 3 minutes. On the road again, we jog to what is the next Safe House but what seems like nowhere.
"Phillip, I'm scared. Why did this have to happen?" I say. He looks at me sympathetically which I don't like but right now truly need. "To be honest, I am too ," he says smiling, but I know it's not real. It's just an act to make me feel better. We stay quiet for what seems like 20 minutes until we here a distant drone. We both stop in our tracks and look behind us. A helicopter about a mile away is flying in our direction. We dodge into the woods and take shelter under a log. The helicopter passes and Phillip slowly emerges from under the log. But then, in and instant he's gone from my sight.
