The chapter is dedicated to all my readers. Thank you for voting and reading my book.
The sky was navy blue when I opened my eyes the next morning. My routine time to wake up was thirty past five, the exact time was shown on my nightstand clock. It took me the next thirty minutes to do my morning bathroom work of brushing, excreting, and cleaning except bathing. I shower after I was done with my yoga classes. I put on a light-green sports bra and yoga pants then clutched my hair in a high ponytail and slipped into a long-length black shrug, that went beyond my knees. Grabbing my car keys, I climbed down the staircase and ambled straight into the kitchen to pick up my protein shake. When I stepped out, I hadn't expected my new minaret-like bodyguard to stand in front of my car's passenger door.
His hands were clutched behind his back, shoulders were outstretched, gaze pointed straight at some distant object, and was dressed in a black tuxedo. Hair styled into side-parted. His chiseled jaw and chin had a five o'clock shadow.
How does he know which one is my car?
As I was approaching my car his gaze shifted to me and curled his lips into a heartwarming smile.
Nothing could have made my day better other than my Bodyguard's smile.
"Keys!" He demanded. Is he taking his job seriously?
"I can drive!"
"Unfortunately, You are not allowed from today!"
"Listen Shaurya, I want to live my life with freedom. Don't tow yourself everywhere. If I get trapped in the fire again, I will call you. Okay."
"Not okay!" He argued with a sarcasm-laced tone.
"Don't you have another work, rather than irritating me!"
"No. Cause, Saira, you are my only job from this moment!" Saying, he outstretched his hand, "Kindly give me your keys, or there are other cars also. Only I have to do is throw you in one car carefully, and drive where ever you want to go! And this rule was passed by your mother–"
"–Stepmother!" I cut him off and tossed the key in his hand. He nodded then opened the back seat door. Instead, I opened the passenger side door for myself. He watched with quiet astonishment.
I kenned it and replied, "I feel lonely sitting alone on the backside, so either passenger seat or driver seat!" I slipped into the seat and put on the belt. He held the door, stopping me from slamming it, and leaned closer towards me.
"From today you will not feel lonely, Baby Bear!" After that, he closed the door. I stared at the door, rephrasing what he had just conveyed to me. I didn't even realize when he climbed in and started the car.
Baby Bear!
I pressed my lips tightly to hide my smile and stared out of the window. The whole time of my Yoga classes I couldn't stop but contemplate those words and keep smiling. My Yoga teacher was gay. He observed my distracted brain and beaming lips, "Saira baby! What's the good news? Don't want to share with your master?" He pried with another smile. His cheeks showed two depressions on either side.
"It's nothing!"
"Oh! Well, I saw that you came with a hotty!" he winked and slightly tilted his head around to ogle at that hotty. "Oh!" he cupped his cheeks with his palms as his eyes sparkled, "He is watching here only," adding up with, "at me!" I choked on my saliva.
