Chapter 11: Hidden Pasts and Hiding in General

Techno was quick to inform Philza, which Wilbur and George managed to overhear as he spoke quick. He was stopped by them which is how he found out. They blocked his way out, well George did. Wilbur tried to move him out of the way, but it didn't seem like he was trying too hard.

"Guys, we need to go now."

That's when Philza showed up, dressed and ready to go.

"Alright. George and Wil can babysit." He said before pushing both of them away from the door and leaving.

Techno just followed the bird hybrid as the Wilbur just glared at George, who just gawked at his host's audacity to push him aside.

He didn't care though. He just met up with the rest of the group before sending his kids to Philza's house. Then he went to gear up with his own stuff. As he did, he saw Dream in the kitchen filling up water bottles, the belt that he had when he first showed up once again attached to his hip.

It was probably a just in case which is very far. They don't know how far Dream's brother's had gotten or if he's nether travelled. There was a moment when he reached for old weapons and armor when he noticed a new pristine axe with it. Unsure, he went to reach for it when Dream grabbed it.

"Sorry, I put it there for a moment." He apologized before explained, "I lost my old one somewhere."

Well, that explains that. Then he reached for his.

"Y'know it's so weird, I swear I've seen that sword before." Dream laughed.

Techno chuckled, "You see one sword, you've seen them all, right?"

"I guess so." He just shrugged.

Then he reached for his chestplate, "Do you have any armor, Dream?

The axolotl just shook his head, "Yeah, but it's at Philza's. I was just going to go with it."

"I have some extras, you might be able to fit some of his old ones that he's left over."

Dream nodded reaching for one as Techno started pulling some on. Just a chestplate and pants should do whereas the other just put on a chestplate and called it a day.

"Let's get going. Lucky, they came prepared, right?"

He just silently nodded before leaning his head against the wall.

"I'm sure he's fine." Techno tried, "Maybe, he found found his way to Sapnap?"

"We can hope." He sighed then wiped his eyes, "I haven't seen him in so long."

As his hand fell to his side, Techno found himself reaching over to grab it.

"We'll find him." The brute spoke softly, "I promise."

Dream let a small smile come onto to his face, but said nothing, just squeezed Techno's hand. Smile growing a bit more as the other squeezed back.

Before leaving the kids came out to say goodbye. And as he tried to walk away he found someone clinging on to his leg.

Tommy peered up at him with big eyes, "Do you really have to go?"

Dream nodded, "We'll be back soon. I promise."

The kid just wiped his eyes and walked back to his brothers, trying to avoid getting tears on Ranboo.

Purpled came over and rubbed his back as Drista ran up and gave him a quick hug. That's when Techno walked over to all of them and pulled them into a big hug.

"See you guys when we get back."

With that they headed over to where Sam, Niki, and Philza were waiting. The were chatting, maybe planning. Dream could just hope the Sapnap was okay with him bringing more people.
