Chapter 10: Too Many Simps

It was an average day here in Super Smash Town, Lucina casually walked around town, enjoying the quiet time to herself. While walking around, she heard some conversation happening nearby. Looking over near the café, she saw Samus, Zelda, and Corrin, talking about the recent addition to the roster.

"Ever since Pyra and Mythra came, a lot of the guys started treating them like they are extremely special" Zelda explained.

"Yeah, it's like they just do it because they are extremely attractive" Corrin commented.

"I've been in their shoes before, it really does rile all the other girls up" Samus replied, "However, they got more attention than I did"

"Gosh, what a bunch of simps, it's like all the guys want to become their boyfriend or whatever" Zelda sighed.

Upon hearing this, Lucina was worried and ran back towards her home. If what they said was true, she wanted to make sure that Robin was not doing anything wrong. Opening the door, she yelled for her husband.

"ROBIN" She yelled.

"Yeah?" Robin questioned, walking down the stairs.

"Oh good, you're still here" Lucina commented.

"What is going on Lucina?" Robin asked.

"I overheard that a lot of guys in town are simping for Pyra and Mythra" Lucina explained.

"Oh, I see, that has been happening" Robin replied, "Well, you shouldn't worry about me, I'll always stay by your side"

"I know, it was silly of me to think that you would cheat" Lucina sighed.

"However, I have been seeing a lot of the single guys really trying to impress those two" Robin exclaimed.

"How long do you think this will keep going?" Lucina asked.

"Not sure, but Shulk told me that something will surprise them" Robin answered.

"Ok then" Lucina replied.

Over the next few days, Pyra and Mythra were getting a lot of treatment by most of the guys. Snake helped carry their groceries, Dark Pit decided to help clean their house's windows for them, and Sephiroth left them some expensive gifts when they first arrived.

"I really like this town, everyone here is so nice" Pyra commented.

"You do realise what most of these guys are trying to do, right?" Mythra asked.

"I know what most of them are trying to get at, don't worry, I'm aware" Pyra answered, "Besides, you should be worrying about that more"

"Yeah, for sure" Mythra sighed.

"Hello there Mythra, you are looking fine today" Wario greeted.

"Wario, please go away" Mythra told him.

"C'mon, lighten up, you're too angry" Wario laughed. This in turn lead to Mythra punching the biker in the face.

"Haha, told you that would happen" Waluigi commented.

"Shut up, at least I became a fighter" Wario shot back.

"Why you" Waluigi exclaimed before starting a fight with Wario.

"What a bunch of idiots" Mythra commented.

Robin and Lucina so happened to be watching the entire time, if they had to be honest, these interactions were very silly. Shulk was also with them, and he was chuckling to himself. Robin noticed this and wondered why he found it amusing.

"What's with the chuckling?" He asked.

"I've known Pyra and Mythra long enough" Shulk answered, "Something that those guys will not expect"

"That being?" Lucina questioned.

"Well, this only applies to Pyra, not Mythra" Shulk started.

"Hey Pyra" A male voice called out.

The three turned to see a young boy with greyish brown hair in a blue diving like suit waving. Upon hearing him, Pyra beamed in excitement and ran over to the young man.

"REX" She cried as she ran over and hugged him.

This interaction made a lot of the single guys' eyes widen. Robin and Lucina stood there confused while Shulk was just straight up laughing. After Pyra finished hugging the stranger, the two walked off holding hands. Mythra smirked at all the other guys and decided to walk off. This intrigued the Ylissean couple.

"Who was that?" Robin asked.

"That my friend, is Rex" Shulk answered, "He's a good friend of mine, Pyra and Mythra's Driver, and the boyfriend of Pyra"

"Pyra has a boyfriend?" Lucina questioned.

"Yup, that's him" Shulk replied.

"Didn't know that" Robin exclaimed, "I guess those people will be upset"

"Yeah, there will be less of that" Lucina agreed, "Wait, is Mythra dating someone?"

"Nope, but her heart is set on one person that sadly passed, so she won't be having a relationship" Shulk answered.

"Ah, I see" Lucina replied.

The trio looked back at the rest of the guys that were all into the Aegis. From the obvious tears and sloping posture, to say that they were upset would be an understatement. As they all left home to probably cry in bed, the married couple shook their heads while Shulk just laughed at them.

With Rex and Pyra

"So, you're telling me, that loads of guys were just doing nice things for you?" Rex asked, sitting on a bench with Pyra.

"Yup, Mythra and I were aware of what they were trying to do" She replied.

"Man, what a buncha jokers" Rex commented.

"I know, a lot of them were just single" Pyra explained, "But there were some genuinely nice people, like Joker and Roy"

"That's good to hear" Rex said.

"And besides, I wouldn't want to be with anyone else other than you" Pyra told the salvager.

"Thanks, Pyra" He thanked. The two of them moved closer to kiss. And this my friend, is why you should not be simping.
