Chapter 11: Kazuya's Problem

It was just a regular day at the hospital, Dr. Mario was sitting at his desk reading a book on vitamins and nutrition. However, his break was cut short when one of the nurses told him that they had many patients today. Curious, he left his office and made his way over to the waiting area to find many fighters in the same situation. All of them had been beaten badly and have burn marks combined with some pieces of granite stuck to them.

"What happened her?" Dr. Mario questioned.

"It was Kazuya" Ganon answered.

"Kazuya? What did he do to you?" Dr. Mario asked.

"Every time we spar with the guy, he keeps beating us to a pulp" Captain Falcon explained.

"And after he's done with us, he carries us to a volcanic area and throws us off a cliff into some lava" Pit added.

"My goodness" Dr. Mario muttered.

"Really sucks, I have to go to close up the restaurant because I need to recover from this abuse" Min-Min sighed.

"Tell me about it, Caeda has been really worried when I came back like this" Marth replied.

"Okie dokie, I will fix you guys up and let Mr. Sakurai know about this situation" Dr. Mario told everyone.

After Dr. Mario had finished fixing his patients, he sent a document about Kazuya to the man himself. As Masahiro Sakurai read the papers, he was exceptionally furious about what Kazuya had been doing. He was slightly angrier when he found out that Kirby was also one of his throw victims. After making a scheduled meeting day, Sakurai had his plan to stop this feud once and for all.

A few days later

"You called for me sir?" Kazuya asked, walking into Sakurai's office.

"Yes Kazuya, please, have a seat" Sakurai answered. Making his way over to the seat, Kazuya sat in front of the creator's desk. Because this was an important meeting, he decided to wear his suit today.

"What is this meeting for?" Kazuya asked.

"Kazuya, I know you are new here, but I have been getting complaints about you" Sakurai told him, "From what I have been informed, you have been throwing your opponents off a cliff into lava"

"Yes sir, this is the Mishima way, after we defeat our opponents, we throw them off a cliff and if they can come back, they are worthy opponents" Kazuya explained.

"Right, in Super Smash Town, we don't do that here" Sakurai replied, "I want you to stop doing that"

"What? Why? This is what I've been doing throughout my life" Kazuya questioned.

"Look, I know this is a traditional thing, but with the large number of complaints and the number of resources being used to tend to the patients, we cannot let this keep happening" Sakurai explained, "You are going to make a bad image for yourself"

"What do you want me to do?" Kazuya asked.

"All I want is that you stop with the cliff throwing, these fighters are powerful in their own ways" Sakurai answered, "We've had many bad relationships in this community, but they have been settled down"

"I understand" Kazuya replied.

"Good, now, I'm sure you want to go spar, so I'll let you be" Sakurai ended.

After the meeting, Kazuya thought about what he had said. Not everyone was like his father or his son, so the cliff throwing didn't make much sense to do. Deciding to listen to his words, Kazuya made his way to the training grounds to have some time to test his skills. He was very intrigued by Joker, so he decided to spar with him.
