Chapter 7: Min Min's Noodle Shop

It was a lovely day today, everyone around town is going about their day. It had been only a few days since Min Min had arrived and she loved the place. However, there was one thing about her that she wanted to bring to the town, and that was a noodle shop. Now, Jaden had built her a lovely Noodle Shop in the central area of town that he has to make a delicious bowl of noodles for every customer. As she finished wiping the counter table, a few people showed up.

"Hi, welcome to my noodle shop, how may I help you?" Min Min greeted.

"Hello Min Min, I'd like to have Pork Noodle Bowl please" Pit requested.

"I'll have a Beef Noodle Bowl" Red added.

"And I would like a Chicken Noodle Bowl" Link finished.

"Coming right up" Min Min said, after taking everyone's order.

Going towards the cooking station, Min Min got all the ingredients prepped and began her magic. Putting the freshly cooked homemade noodles into separate bowls, pouring in the tare and broth, then finally adding the correct toppings for each of them. She placed all three bowls in front of the customers, and they were in awe. It looked absolutely stunning and delicious, they couldn't wait to dig in.

"Ittedakimasu" The three said before chowing down.

After only one slurp, the three felt like they entered heaven. The noodles were soft and delicious, the meats were tender and succulent, and the broth was silky and smooth. Eventually, the just went for it and downed the entire bowl of noodles. It may not have looked nice, but they didn't care, it was delicious.

"That hit the spot" Link commented.

"I couldn't agree more" Pit replied.

"Say Min Min, what made you go into the noodle business?" Red asked.

"My family line has been making noodles for years, growing up, I loved making noodles" Min Min answered, "We have been using this recipe for a long time now, it has been passed down through generations"

"Wow, that is cool" Red exclaimed.

"I'm glad you all enjoyed it" Min Min told them.

A few days later

"Another one please" Captain Falcon requested.

"Are you sure? That was your seventh bowl" Min Min questioned.

"YES" Captain Falcon cheered.

"Ok then" Min Min sighed.

Making another bowl of ramen, she placed it in front of the racing bounty hunter. He took a huge slurp of noodles and cheered after swallowing. Min Min sighed at the sight, sure, he was quite a regular customer, but she had to make a lot more than usual whenever he comes by. She looked around and noticed that many people gave him looks, specifically Samus, Snake and Marth. Her thoughts were broken when Kirby walked in, looking very hungry.

"Today is going to be a long day" Min Min sighed.

One Week Later

"Tell me again why you brought me here?" Shulk asked.

"It's to see whether you actually have a sense of taste or not" Fiora answered.

"I told you, I do have a sense of taste" Shulk exclaimed, "You off all people should know that"

"I really don't believe you, I even tried mucking up some steps in my cooking and you still say you enjoy it" Fiora shot back.

"That's because I like the food you make, I don't know what it is, but I just can't hate your cooking" Shulk replied, "And that is not a statement to get on your good side, that is me being honest"

"Well, we'll have to see" Fiora stated.

"Hi there, what can I get you?" Min Min greeted.

"I'll have the Pork Noodle Bowl, extra bean sprouts please" Fiora requested.

"And I'll have the Beef Noodle Bowl, with a side of Kaarage (Japanese Fried Chicken)" Shulk added.

"Right, won't be long" Min Min replied.

After a bit of cooking, Min Min finished their orders and placed it right in front of them. The two Homs dug into the noodles that had soaked some of the delicious broth. After the first mouthful, Shulk was smiled as he told Min Min that the noodles, she made were delicious and probably the best thing he has ever had. To say that Fiora was surprised was a bit of an understatement, she was shocked. She knew that Min Min's noodles were highly praised from what others had said, but she didn't expect it to make Shulk act like this. Noticing her surprised expression, Shulk chuckled.

"Told you I had a sense of taste" He smiled.

"Well, looks like you proved me wrong" Fiora sighed, going back to eating her noodles. Min Min smiled at the couple's interaction and went back to work.

The Next Day

As Min Min was preparing food for her customers, Robin and Lucina walked into the shop holding hands. Judging by their looks, they seemed to be out on a date. Min Min always loved it whenever couples come to her shop, it is always nice to see dates happening. After a few minutes, she happily served them their meals. Robin began eating, but he noticed Lucina was a bit confused while holding the chopsticks in a weird way.

"Have you never used chopsticks?" Robin asked.

"Uh, yeah, I never had the opportunity to do so" Lucina answered, "This is sort of new to me"

"Would you like some help?" Min Min offered, "Or would you like me to get you a fork?"

"Help would be nice" Lucina replied.

Eventually, Min Min and Robin helped Lucina learn how to eat with chopsticks and she did pretty well. Later, as the shop closed, and Min Min cleaned up, she thought about being a new addition to Super Smash Town. It was fun, and she was glad to be a part of such a big thing. Especially when it comes to selling noodles. That was the plus side.
