Chapter 10

The Whisk Mansion

You found yourself standing on a black stranded bridge, the wind blowing coldly. There was a large black mansion, which looked rather broken down with windows broken and the front door hanging off from its hinges. You were appalled by the view, turning to look behind you, it was a dead gone cliff with a black bloody el’ sea below you. The cliff had black spruce trees growing from the side of the ledges of the cliff, across from the sea was a huge body of land with trees and large sparkling towers of glass barely seen. You realized you were on an island. You glanced back at the mansion and noticed there was Elathan standing there, looking at you rather oddly.

“You just kidnapped me!” you shouted rather angry at him, he looked at you rather amused.

“I would say you’re quite used to it by now.” Elathan said with a look of a smirk.

“First of all, Eibmoz never kidnapped me-”

“Are you forgetting the first time you met him? He literally picked you up and ran off with you.” Elathan said with a ‘ha-ha’ kind of look that was rather cynical. You scuffed, looking off cause you knew he was right.

“How you know so much about-”

“Everything? Come inside first, then I’ll tell you.” He says and walks towards the broken down building. He really wanted you to go inside something like that? You took a step on the bridge and suddenly like a plummet of a wave cast over you; a sensation prickled. There the building now stood superior, grand and new. The windows had lights growing from inside. You stood there shocked; the broken building was fixed and new! Then you remembered you were standing next to a Morpher. Who knew what was real or fake? There was music pulsing from the house, rave techno music, like something you imagine would be playing during a sacrifice.

“What…” you started, following Elathan up to the door, the door opened and there stood a 20 year old man with black hair and green highlights, his eyes were a fiery amber color. He was wearing a tux and tail-coat with white gloves.

“Thank you, James.” Elathan said walking in. The man had his own butler!? James bowed to Elathan as he walked in and you timidly followed him. James slowly closed the door behind you, you glanced at him. He didn’t seem like a bad person, he was rather cute in fact.

“Thank you.” You whispered looking at him, if you were going to be a prisoner of the Rebels, you might as well make a few friends and try to escape with their help. James seemed like the guy that could.

“Anytime, my lady.” He said bowing down and kissing your hand. You let out a noise, not expecting this; Elathan turned looking around at the two of you.

“James, lay off a bit. She’s not used to being in the Whisk mansion, give her a week.” He said, quite teasing the boy. He just nodded and then walked off down the black marble stairs; you were staring down at your feet nervously. Suddenly there were little lights on the floor; swirling and you glanced up noticing that the mansion was filled with people. They were actually dancing on the lower floor; there was a major stereo and flashing lights. What was all this?  Suddenly a girl with silver brown hair ran over to you, her eyes were a bright red color and she had a smile on her lips. She was wearing a red dress and she was… beautiful.

“So you’re Virus Snow!?” she asked taking your hands in her’s. She looked so familiar but you had no idea where from. Another girl walked slowly over to the two of you, she had dark cold gray eyes and silver blond hair, and she was wearing a long black lacey dress. Her beauty was inoperable yet cold like winter’s best.
