He followed behind me as I walked up to the castle.

"Hey Y/N." He called out right before I started to enter the great hall. I turned back to him. "I'll work on it."

"Work on what?" I clarified.

"On not being a prat like my father." He gave a small smile as he walked past me. We walked over to the table to meet with the rest of our group.

"Where were you?" Pansy asked as we sat down.

"We're not late are we?" I replied, raising my eyebrow. Pansy had no response. I turned my attention to Dumbledore who had now taken his place at the front of the school.

"Today is a special occasion. I will wait until after we have had our feast to announce it. So for now, tuck in!" Dumbledore waved his hands and food filled up on our tables. I watched as the students eagerly reached forward.

I carefully looked around to see what I could eat. Being a vegetarian, it was hard sometimes to find anything that didn't have chicken. I found some vegetable paninis and pasta, so I served some onto my plate.

"I bet 10 galleons that Dumbledore's special announcement is about the Triwizard Tournament." Enzo said, taking a bite from his food.

"Do you think they'll arrive tonight?" Pansy's eyes widened as she thought of the prospect of new students arriving. 

"No, I don't think so." Draco shook his head.

"I want them to come today. I think it would be exciting to see some new faces." I shrugged.

"Where would they stay? Will we have to share our rooms?" Pansy questioned.

"I wouldn't mind showing a few Ilvermorny boys my Slytherin dormitory." I teased. Draco looked up at me, his eyes widening a bit. Pansy threw her head back and chuckled. Enzo let out a small whistle and Blaise choked on his food.

"Keep it PG sister." A voice said behind me. I saw my brother Edmund walk around, taking a seat across from me.

"I only meant that I would be hospitable to all our guests." I corrected, giving an apologetic grin.

"Mhm." Edmund gave me a look as he served some food on his plate as well.

The rest of the meal was eaten in silence sometimes broken by casual chatter. After we were done, the plates and food vanished as they had come. Dumbledore resumed his spot at the front of the school behind his owl podium.

But something caught my eye out the window. I turned to see four Pegasus horses flying through the air pulling a carriage. They came into land at the Hogwarts gate.

"Look!" I quickly pointed. It seemed the entire hall's focus was now outside. The waters of the lake suddenly churned, swirling faster and faster. That created a large whirlpool at the center and a huge ship emerged from under the water, approaching the gate too. Just when it seemed the chaos had ended, I heard a large vroom. In an orderly fashion came a line of brightly colored sports cars. Each model was sleek and flashy.

"You'll get to see more of that later, but if I could please have your attention." Dumbledore announced. Reluctantly, we all tore our eyes away from the scene outside. "Now that we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event." Dumbledore paused for dramatic effect. "The Tri-Wizard tournament."
