All the students scrambled their belongings and started to get up from their seats.

"Brilliant isn't he! Completely demented of course. Terrifying to be in the same room with, he's really BEEN there you know." I heard Ron say as we left the classroom.

"There's a reason those curses are unforgivable, and to perform them in a classroom?!" I turned back to him astonished.

"I agree with Y/N, I mean did you see Neville's face?" Hermione said. As we were walking out, I saw Neville sitting by the window.

"Neville?" I asked quietly. He looked over at me. "Are you okay?"

Neville gave a small nod. "I just want to be alone right now." He turned back to face the window.

"Y/N?" I heard Draco call my name from behind me. I ignored it and continued towards the balcony on the astrology tower. I needed some fresh air without interruption.

I ignored him calling my name and climbed up the stairs. When I reached the top, I walked straight to the balcony outside. I leaned forward on the railing and closed my eyes. In my mind, images of the class today flashed in my eyes.

The look on Draco's face when he... proposed. It was so strange. It made me feel weird. I had never seen Draco in that light before. It incited like... butterflies in my stomach? No... it must've just been anxiety or something.

But then I thought back to the fear I felt when he had threatened to kill me. The cold hard gaze, the wanting of murder in his eyes. It was scarier than anything I had felt.

"Y/N!" Draco said behind me. I turned around to see him standing there. He walked towards me. I turned back towards the railing, breathing in the fresh air. Draco stood beside, looking towards me. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly.

I turned towards him. "I just saw you propose your love for me and almost kill me in the matter of 30 seconds." I turned back towards the scenery. "So, no... I'm not okay."

"I'm sorry..." He looked at his hands.

"It's not your fault." I assured him. It really wasn't his fault.

"I tried to stop, you know." He whispered, putting his hand on top of mine. "I could see how much it was hurting you."

"I know...I know." I nodded.

"You know, I heard Fred and George are trying to put their name in the Goblet." Draco broke the silence. That made me smile a bit.

"Really?" I asked.

"Wanna watch?" Draco grinned. I nodded and we turned around to start walking down the main hall.

"You keep tabs on the Weasleys?" I asked.

"I keep tabs on everyone. Even you." Draco joked, putting an arm around my shoulder.

"I'm too mysterious for you to keep track of me." I slipped out of his hold.

"You're basic is what you are." Draco corrected.

"I'm interesting!" I defended.

"You have the same cereal every day. You take the same route to your first class, even though it's longer, but you do it because it goes through the courtyard. You pretend you're this bold extroverted girl, when really all you want to do is stay at home with a book. Speaking of books, you read all those muggle stories of fantasy, and half the time when people think you're deep in thought, you're actually just imagining yourself in that made up world." Draco finished.

I stared at him, too stunned to speak.

"How's that for keeping tabs?" He scoffed.

"You're a stalker, Malfoy." I pushed past him and entered the Great Hall.
