There's a scene in this chapter that.... well if you know, you know ;)
-Y/N-
I woke up, my head slightly hurting. I touched a palm to my forehead as my eyes tried to flutter open. I sat up in my bed and looked down at my state. I had taken off my dress and one shoe. The other heel clung to my foot. As for my clothes, I was just in my undergarments. Apparently drunk me didn't think much... or at all. I was still wearing the necklace I had worn. One touch to my hair and face told me I had neither combed my hair nor washed off my makeup.
I was so glad that today we had no classes.
I got up and trudged over to the bathroom. Never before had I been so grateful that I had my own dorm. One of the qualities of living by yourself is you could appear in whatever state you would like. Unless of course someone came in-
Knock knock.
I froze in my spot, my mind frantically racing to see what I could find to cover up myself. I ran over to my closet and grabbed my robe. I threw it over myself and wrapped it around, covering all of me. I walked over to the door and opened it barely a crack, just enough for my one eye to peak in between.
"Uh... Y/N?" Draco asked, leaning a bit to the side to meet my gaze.
"Yes." I replied.
"May I... come in?" He questioned.
"No. Right now's not a good time." I answered.
"Ok... well... um... when can you-"
"Library? 30 minutes?" I interjected. The sooner he was gone the better I'd be out of this awkward situation.
"Okay..." He nodded. "I wanted to talk to you about that kiss-"
"Seriously, Draco, not a good time." I shut the door, but forgot to lock it.
"Y/N you did not just shut the door in my face." I heard his tone shift. He was angry.
I quickly made my way over to the bathroom, giving no response.
"You're acting really suspicious, I'm coming in on the count of three." His voice was muffled as he stood outside. I quickly went inside the bathroom and shut the door, locking it this time. I hoped the stained-glass window that adorned the bathroom door wasn't transparent enough to be seen through.
"One... two... three." He said. I heard the door unlock and footsteps came inside. Through the stained-glass window, I could see his vague shape, a distant moving blob, but thankfully nothing clear. Which meant he couldn't see me clearly as well.
"Okay where the hell are you?" He asked stopping in the middle of the room.
"In the bathroom, practically naked since you decided to barge into my room!" My own anger flared. "Ever heard of invasion of privacy?"
"You were acting so weird, what was I supposed to do? Besides, I did count to three to give you a warning." He defended, I could see his shape come closer to the door.
"Draco I look like a troll. I haven't washed my makeup, combed my hair, or even brushed my teeth. That's why I was hiding." I explained to him.
"I doubt you'd ever look like a troll." I heard him mutter. But then he cleared his throat. "How are you going to spend your winter break?" He asked in his normal voice.
"I don't know." I replied. We had two weeks off before we had to return to school... and the tournament. "Can we talk about this later? Please just let me freshen up and I'll meet you at the library in thirty minutes."
