We continue on for another ten minutes and my fear begins to grow, I have no idea where we are, and I'm afraid to ask. I don't have a watch, so I don't know what time it is, but judging by the almost set sun, Karate already started.
I poke him in the shoulder again, "You're not taking me to Karate are you." It's a statement more than it is a question.
He angles his head so I can hear him again, "You'll enjoy this better Jojo."
Dread pools in my stomach, I weigh my chances of jumping off and dying by impact collision, or my chance of getting kidnapped by my enemy on a motorcycle.
I will more than likely break a limb if I hurl myself off of a motorcycle going over ninety miles an hour, so I decide to think of every possible outcome that could come with going with Johnny.
1. Kidnapping. This is already kidnapping, but what if they hold me for ransom? From what I know Johnny is rich, and lives in the hills. I'm not sure about his friends though. I'm on his bike though, so I doubt it's ransom.
2. Murder. Have I pushed Johnny far enough for murder? I don't think so, unless I have. I've pretty much embarrassed him in front of everyone we know, but he's already retaliated, more than a couple of times.
There aren't any other scenarios that I can come up with, so I just hold on tight and hope that there's an intermission where I can break for it.
The sun is fully down when we make it onto a deserted dark road, and the headlights come on illuminating the darkness before us. Definitely going to get murdered.
I send a quick prayer to every god that I can think of, when we pull to a stop in front of a pathway into the forest, I hear the sound of laughing and talking, and I can also smell weed and campfire.
At first I'm very confused, then I realize that these idiots brought me to a sacrifice. "Are you going to kill me?" I jump off the bike and face them, Johnny chuckles and runs a hand through his hair, "Not yet, Doll."
"That's not funny, Sensei John is going to kill us!"
"Sensei John knows exactly where you are right now, it's a team building activity." He grins at me with a winning smile but I scoff.
"Why was I not told of this?"
"He knew you would say no."
"How did you know where I was?"
"You wear a red leather jacket everywhere, you're not that hard to find."
"Fine, tell me why exactly we're doing this, and why it's just you five that are here?"
"Sensei thinks that you need to become more accommodated with the team, and who better to bond with then the best students." His friends laugh, and so does he, never breaking my angry glare.
By now they've formed a semi-circle around me, "You are such a liar Johnny Lawrence." I walk right up to him so that we're inches apart, he lowers his head to look down at me because although I imagine that I'm intimidating I still only go up to his shoulder.
"Let's say I am lying. How are you going to get back Doll?"
"If you call me that one more time I swear I'll-"
"You'll what? Bite my ankles?" The group laughs but I claw the sides of my face angrily.
"For the love of everything holy. Have you always been a massive jerk?"
"Nope, only around you Sweetheart."
"Stop giving me pet names! It's weird and perverted, and you are a massive creep for bringing me out to the middle of nowhere, to a- party!?" By now I'm pacing in circles, the realization slowly settling on me.
