Hey, guys!! I'm still alive, and Darcy will be on her way soon! I'm sorry I've had to leave you hanging. Life's been a bit hectic and keeps dropping more loads than I can carry. Whilst I'm the creator of Darcy, I'm also a graphic designer and host/founder of an Awards competition that is in the midst of judging and almost coming to an end (if people stop dropping like flies). Plus uni and life, etc.
Will you believe it or not, I've been attempting to write out the last few chapters and the start of book 2 for the last month? Yes, a month! Madness and tiring, I tell you. I think I'm on my 5th attempt within the last two weeks, never mind the month. I've had the final planned since I started writing again last year, and as soon as it comes up to me, I get slammed with the biggest writer's block ever 😭
I have a few things to point out and need a little help with what to do next—just a few thoughts and theories.
As you've noticed, the last couple of chapters has been heavy and intense. I want to point out the next two will be the same and will continue onto the start of book two. Whilst most don't appreciate that and would prefer lighter scenes/chapters. I would like to say that Darcy's story isn't fluffy and colourful. It's shaded and full of heartbreak, betrayal and seeking what she once lost. And most of all, the beginning of WHO and WHAT she is/will become, which you will be introduced to next.
As for also in book two, I will be focusing on her relationship with Damon and Stefan, so you will be given light chapters regarding them. Aside from that, this is Darcy's story, and the plot will change to fit her character and background—meaning it will not be centred around Elena—she and every doppelgánger are thorns in her backside—this is about gaining redemption for the Mikaelson's ♥️
If this isn't what you have come for, I'm sorry, but this has been the plot since the semi-beginning. I won't change it, but I can implement some of your thoughts and theories of what you would like to see/happen. Comment them down on this chapter, and I will see what I can do.
