It was 10 AM the next day, Hailey was walking through the city after she had completed groceries. She had already been given an exam for a drivers' license. She just needed to wait until the end of the year for the final test. This was exhausting and she would've just called a cab but ever since she had started earning her money, she had realized how precious each cent was.

Like $7 for delivery? That's 1 hour of work. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she felt a strange feeling in her stomach. She looked around and spotted a man wearing sunglasses leaning against a pole reading a newspaper.

He looked decent enough but something was wrong she could feel it. She searched her pockets for her phone and it wasn't there. She was sure she had it on her, she had texted MJ at the grocery store.

She racked her brain for where she might've put it when she realized she had bumped into a woman on her way back.

Shit.

She was being set up.

She took a sharp turn around the corner and spotted another man who was reading a magazine except this idiot was reading a Vogue magazine upside down.

She hurried back toward the direction she had come from. The grocery bags were slipping from her hands because her palms were getting sweaty. She was full-on panicking now. Her literal worst fear was getting stuck in a human trafficking racket. A girl from Surrey had been kidnapped and they found her body 10 years later in the US where she had been sold.

She hurried inside an alleyway where she could at least cast an invisibility charm over herself. The men weren't even attempting to conceal their identity anymore. They were pacing towards her, hands on their ear comms whispering stuff she couldn't hear.

Hailey ditched the grocery bags and sprinted into the alleyway flicking her wrist to pull out her wand. Before she could cast a spell. a woman- the same one she had bumped into jumped on top of her.

Hailey attempted to knock her off using one of Davis's tricks but it failed. She had to stick her fingers up the woman's nose to get her out of her. That's when a man wearing a red iron suit walked into the scene.

"My dad- my dad is the chief police officer, you won't get away with this," Hailey said panicking. It was 1 against 4 well-built men- one with an iron suit and a woman who she wasn't going to last another second against.

"Kid, your parents have been dead for 15 years now," The man in the iron suit said. Hailey's eyes widened, they knew about her. This wasn't some felony, they'd planned this.

Hailey mentally cursed herself. SHE SHOULD'VE LEARNED TO APPARATE!

She pulled out her wand and fired jinxes at them. Hailey had the element of surprise for one minute until they realized she was armed and they advanced towards her with full force.

A man with a weird blue costume held her down with ease while she kicked free from him and attempted to try a punch on him that Davis had taught her. Davis was a useless piece of shit because no move Davis had shown her worked on this man. He just stood there like 'are you done yet?'

Hailey finally managed to get enough distance that she was able to fire a jelly-legs jinx on the blue costume guy. It was almost comical to watch the brawny man stumble onto the floor as he attempted to regain control of his legs.

The woman had cornered her in the alley and was now tackling her to the ground as she had taken one moment off the fight to celebrate the tiny victory.

"arghh-stup...efy!" she managed to stun the woman off her.

"What the fuck did you do?!" One of the men yelled getting an arrow ready to fire her. The Iron guy beat him to it by using some kind of powerful blast from his glove to get her wand to fly out of her hand. The Iron guy then pinned her against the wall trying to handcuff her resisting hands.
