A few weeks later...
A Secret HYDRA base in a forest.

Hailey was with Raina at a secret facility where they were going to train Hailey for HYDRA. Just some self-defense and protocols type of thing. Hailey found it quite fascinating that HYDRA was based all around the world. She'd been to Singapore, another really snowy place she didn't know the name of, Nigeria, and another forested place she also didn't know the name of.

The only downside was quitting her job. She really enjoyed working at Peter Pan's and talking with MJ every day now especially since it was summer break for her and she worked full-time but at least she had invested in a phone so she could contact people.

"Hailey, this is Agent Davis. He'll teach you the basics," Raina introduced a tall man. He was definitely over 6 feet and he looked like one of those guys who you knew never smiled. He intimidated the hell out of her.

She introduced herself with as much confidence as she could muster. Hailey was scared to death but there was no way she was going to let her opponent know that. Raina excused herself and left the room.

"We'll start off easy," He said in a monotone voice. He motioned for her to follow him on the padded surface in the room. She followed him utterly confused. He allowed her to step on first and then followed.

"If someone traps your hands, how do you respond?" he asked holding her hands from the front in his tight grip. She tried to wiggle her hand out but his grip didn't even budge, he stood there unphased. Hailey decided to trip him over by using her leg to knock his leg over.

Surprisingly enough, it worked. Only because he wasn't expecting it but Hailey got cocky. She smirked widely and offered him her hand because he totally needed it. She didn't know she had provoked him and he got up on his own trapping her hands like last time. She tried the kick but somehow he just picked her up and threw her down on the mat.

"OWW what was that for?" Hailey asked. The mat only lessened the impact, it still hurt like hell.

"Try again. You should be able to free yourself 3 consecutive times before we're done here," he allowed the tiniest smirk upon his face.

Hailey barely got past one before he figured out her strategy and slammed her to the mat. She decided to retry the leg-lock one which he wasn't expecting again and it worked! Then, she slammed her head on his collar bone which also worked but it left her dizzy. On the third try, she used the devil card and went straight for a groin kick.

She smiled as he lost his composure for a minute.

"You did good enough for your first day, practice for tomorrow," he said and left the room leaving a smirking Hailey behind.

"I can't wait 'till tomorrow," Hailey said cracking her knuckles as Raina walked back into the room.

"Davis doesn't praise anyone so you must've done really well," Raina smiled "But don't get ahead of yourself,"

"I'll be fine," Hailey said with more confidence than she should. It was nearly lunchtime so they went to the cafeteria to grab a quick bite before the next training session.

After an hour, Hailey was paired with another agent. A female this time, Agent Bell. She was explaining the protocols of HYDRA. Like how missions work, who's in command and who you must follow.

"Remember, if you get caught. You must not reveal any information to the enemy," She pulled out a pill bottle, "this is-"

"No, we're done here. Hailey. Why don't you go rest? Agent Davis would like to meet with you early next morning," Raina cut in.
