A few days later
Avenger's Compound...

It had been a few days since she'd been kidnapped. She'd been stored away in a spare guest room that had apparently been equipped with every security protocol known to mankind. They would bring her 3 meals a day-no dessert (yea, she knew the other 'Avengers' as they called themself got dessert) and ask her questions about HYDRA. One day they would straight up ask another they'd try to threaten her or ask complicated questions in hope that she'd accidentally spill the beans.

She had managed to hold up surprisingly fine. Raina's trust in her had not been misplaced. It was her 6th morning in captivity when Steve knocked on the door.

"You have kidnapped me, drugged me, and locked me here against my will but thank you for knocking the door before opening it," Hailey called out.

"You're welcome, Here. Breakfast. Eat something and then I'll come back," Steve told her.

Hailey debated a hunger strike but she could smell the bacon from the plate. Her mouth watered at the sight of the bacon cheese sandwich. Every day she debated a hunger strike but alas ended up eating whatever was served because it always ended up being so delicious and she was yet to figure out a plan for escape.

The sandwiches were delicious, she got up to shower and change. They had provided her with a change of clothes and toiletries. It was definitely better than any prison she'd ever heard about but it was worse in ways because she didn't know what they could do or if Raina could ever break her out.

After showering, she had nothing to do. Every plan she came up with to escape was flawed to such an extent that it was stupid to even try it. Besides, if she knew anything from watching TV, it was that if you try to escape and get caught. The kidnappers become more alert and make it harder to escape.

To top it all off, Hermione and Ron had visited her the day before she was kidnapped so they wouldn't even begin to get suspicious until a week later. Raina had put her on a break so she also wouldn't get suspicious until she decided she needed Hailey for a mission and tried contacting her. Only Karen might notice but Hailey wasn't dumb enough to rely on her.

*knock knock*

Hailey didn't reply so Steve opened the door.

"Are we feeling like owning up and answering today?" Steve asked. Hailey had to admit he was the nicest to her. Tony Stark (the goatee dude) didn't like her very much and he made it known. Clint Barton (the archer) despised her and he also made that known. Natasha didn't really talk to her other than when Hailey had profusely apologized for stunning her and she'd woken up only 2 days later.

"I can't. You know it. Stop being nice to me I know you don't like me, it isn't going to get you any answers," Hailey replied. She honestly just wished everyone would treat her horribly so she could hate them in peace.

Steve stepped inside and took and chair to sit down. Hailey knew what was coming. He was going to try to guilt-trip her and then stare into her soul with disappointment. She rolled her eyes and fell back on the bed in exasperation.

"Hey, get up. That's rude," Steve told her.

Hailey got up and waited for the inevitable. It was better to just get it over with and then question all of her life choices for the rest of the day.

"Tony's going to take apart your 'wand' since you won't tell him how it works," Steve informed her instantly catching Hailey's attention. It was her phoenix core wand she'd fixed with her Elder wand after the battle but if Tony broke it into pieces she couldn't do anything about it.

"No! You have to stop him. Please cutting it won't do anything. I already told you it was a magic wand. It's a magical wand for witches and wizards, you learn spells and go to Hogwarts to learn how to wield it. You can't repair it after it breaks, that wand chose me. It means too much to me. Please, I swear to Merlin you won't get anything out of it," Hailey continued rambling until Steve stopped her.
