Chapter 4

Davien pov

"What?" my dad asked while the women I assume the girl's mother hid the girl behind her. A growl scaped from my mouth. "She's my mate" I told my dad without breaking eye contact with the girl.

"How is this possible? " The women asked looking at me terrified. "I think it's possible since Davien's wolf is present" women looked at dad and he continued " he shifted when he was 9 so he has a wolf"
"But my Adira doesn't have her wolf nor has shifted" her mother told.

"He is my mate" Adira told. Her voice is like heaven to me and Xander. Xander started purring inside my head. "I didn't know you could purr" I told my wolf with a laugh. Xander started growl to me and said, "Stop saying shit and listen to mate your stupid human." "Okay okay I'm listening and mind your language"

"How do you know baby?" Adira's mom asked her. "Even though I didn't shift my wolf appeared in my head during last month, I didn't tell anyone because I was scared other kids. would think I'm weirder than they think" when she finished talking another growl scape from me because I got angry when she said kids thought she was weird. She's not weird, she's amazing.

"I mind linked your mother, Davien; she's back and will come here soon" dad looked at her mother and continued " and Mellisa if you don't mind, I would like to talk to you alone with my mate; Adira can stay in my house during that time with Davien and his siblings; don't worry they won't be alone our beta female will stay with them. And since your daughter is my son's mate you two can stay in our pack."

"Thank you, Alpha, and yes I would like to talk with you." Mellisa said. With that my mom came with sleeping Aiden with her and heather with now wide-awake Keren.
"Hi, you must be Mellisa I'm Amanda luna of silver moon pack " my mom told Mellisa with a big smile. Mellisa bowed to mom, but mom said "oh no need to bow you can call me Amanda; and darling can you stay with Davien for a few hours your mom and we has to talk about something ok? " Mom told Adira and she nodded her head and came closer to me. Xander started to run around my head again excitedly as how close his mate is near him. Although I didn't show anything outside, I was doing a little happy dance inside my head.

My mom looked at me and mouthed go, so I took her hand in my hand and left the office with heather and Keren in front of us.
Sparkles were running from where our hands touched; I wonder if she can feel those. I looked at her, but she was looking down and i saw a little blush came to her cheeks. She was so cute with her shyness. "Talk to mate" my wolf started to nag me again.

Not knowing how to start a conversation with her I waited till we get home. Whole time we were holding hands, and my smile didn't fade away.

When our home came to our view I decided to talk to her. " How old are you?"
She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes and told "10 and you?" I was kind of happy cause she decided to ask me a question instead just replying to me " I'm 12 " I didn't want to stop talking but I was out of things to ask her; but she asked me one instead " who is she? " " who?" Being the idiot I am asked her. With a little chuckle she points Keren. " oh that's Keren my sister she's same age as you two can be great friends is it only you and your mother?" That's when I realized we were in our living room; I looked back at her only to realize she was in tears. I feel awful to see her in tears; so, I did the only thing that came to my mind I hugged her.
