Chapter 14

Adira's pov

1 year later

It's been a year since I shifted. And Davien has been a little bit possessive over me than before, even I got my own room for the while I stay here with them Davien always asking me to come and sleep with him. Now don't get your dirty minds filled with false hope. We slept together as in the same bed while fully clothed. We may have shared some kisses and cuddles, but Davien always stopped before our make out sessions got heated which I respect a lot. He doesn't force me into anything. There was sometimes I wanted him to go ahead but I'm glad he doesn't because I don't think I'm still ready for a big step like that in our relationship.

Few months ago mom moved to the new house that was built for us next to Davien's house. But I stayed with them, actually with Davien because if I didn't stay with them Davien might be sneak into my room middle of the night. And few months ago, Davien turned 19 so his dad step down from alpha position and Davien took it. We held a big ceremony for that and that day I was introduced to the pack as their new Luna.

Davien started build a house for us a little bit away from his dad's house after few weeks I first shifted to my wolf. I only got to know that he's building a new home for us. He said I'll be able to see the house when once the house is finished.

Since he become the alpha of our pack, he spent most of the time at his office. I was kinda starting to feel alone without him but since I had Keren with me. it's good to have her. Today she has a date with Gareth. Gareth turned 18 this year so he found out that Keren was his mate. I was kind of jealous too because it's more than 7 years since we met and knew we were each other's mates but not once he took me for date or haven't even tell me that even if he still loved me or not.

I know he's busy since he's alpha and he need to look after a whole pack not just about me; so I never told him about my concerns. I don't want to be a nosy, jealous girlfriend. I was ok with not going on dates with him as long as I get to spend some time him every day.

For Keren's date she wanted to go shopping last minute. She was my best friend and since I couldn't say no and I actually doesn't have much to do here anyways, I decided to go shopping with her. I tried to mind link Davien to say that I'm going but his mind link was closed. He must have been in a important alpha business. and when I tried to call him, he didn't answer so I left his house to the pack house where his office was.

When I get to his office room, I hold my hands to knock at the door only to hear a muffling sound not just any sound it was a woman's moan. I hesitated a little before going in but I went in after a while standing there like a dummy. I didn't knock I just bursted into his office like a maniac.

What I saw made my heart broke. It was Davien and Pheobe kissing while both of them roaming their hands each other. I couldn't breathe as my breath hitched in my throat. A sob came out of mouth as they broke away. Davien looks at me with a terrified face while Pheobe looks at me with a smirk. Mind saying her blouse was fully opened to display her fake boobs. I couldn't look anymore as tears started to stream from my eyes. Suddenly all I saw was red, but I couldn't do anything to her since she was a pack member as a luna I must be patient, kind and forgiving not otherwise.

I turned around and ran while I heard Davien yell my name. I ran straight to his house and Keren's room.
She was getting ready to go to the mall when I suddenly burst through her door and flopped down to her bed. Instantly she was near me
"Hey Adira what's wrong why are you crying you need to me get Davien"
"N-no p-please Don't get him. I- I don't want to see him anymore" I told her while sobbing.
"Can you tell me what happened so I can help you to fix it"
I nodded and told her everything. When I finished speaking, she was so angry that her face was red too.
"That shitface did this to you how dare he and that slut. Urghh I'm so mad at both of them. I'm sorry Adira really am, I-" she couldn't get to finish as we heard that shitface sorry my so-called mate yelling at her.
"Keren open this damn door I need to talk to her right now. "
"Get the hell out of my room Davien. And stay away from her. I don't care that you're my alpha now cause she's my luna too" Keren yelled back.

"Keren please open the door. That was a total misunderstanding.
Adira please, love I need to talk to you. Please let me explain."
When he told me 'Love' I burst into tears all over again because all these times he had to tell me that, after he cheated on me. Leona was heartbroken too since she's whining inside my head all this time.
Keren stood suddenly and left the room after saying she'll be back soon.

She came back to the room with a scowl and sat down next to me.
"I'll tell Gareth to postpone our date I want to stay with you"
"No please Keren don't do that go with him, if you wouldn't go with him, I'll feel more terrible than now"
"But I don't want to leave you alone here today"
"I'll stay with my mom for couple days I can sleep in that room mom prepared for me, for the while I stay there."
"But-"
"I need space Keren please. I can't stay here."
"Ok I'll then let you get some space alone"
She said while hugging me.
Then she went to his room and started to pack my things was in there. Then we left their home to my mom's.
I went sleep after telling Keren to go that date with her mate and when she came back, I need every detail about her first date, or I'll throw her out from the window of her room to the woods. Since I have to keep my thoughts away from his for a couple of days it might be helpful.

When I went to bed sleep came over to me as today was a very tired day. Actually, it's exhausted not tired. and I didn't need anything now except for a good sleep where I'll be free from this nightmare.
