YOUR POV

After dinner, I relax in my room by watching TV and getting ready for bed. The rain continues to drizzle down on my windows, making me sleepy as I sit in my comfy chair.

I don't think I can stay awake much longer.

I climb into bed and get situated under my covers. Oh, how I missed you, bed.

I lay there for a few minutes, just watching the rainfall from my balcony. The rain seems to grow heavier and heavier as time passes. I'm watching the tiny drops coat my window when a black figure drops down onto my balcony.

I sit up in an instant.

Before I can think I toss the covers off of me and jump out of bed, running to the glass door. The figure approaches it slowly, his face too dark for me to see.

I yank open the door. "Cat Noir!" I yell through the rain. "What are you doing out here?"

He keeps his head down, as if he is purposely not meeting my gaze. I continue looking at him worriedly.

"Come on I don't want you to catch a cold, come inside!" I manage to yell. He still doesn't move until I grab his hand and pull him inside myself.

"Geez," I say, shutting the door. "It's terrible out there. I don't know how you're not freezing."

Water droplets fall from his soaking wet hair that remains covering his eyes.

"Cat?"

Slowly he meets my gaze, but I'm shocked to see an emotion I've never seen in him before. His eyes look pitiful, like he's about to crack into pieces at any moment.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I push his wet hair to the side, revealing his beautiful features.

"I-" he mumbles, and all of a sudden I can see tears swelling in his eyes.

"-I didn't know where else to go."

Before I know it I'm surrounded by his arms.

I'm shocked by his behavior but I quickly don't mind it at all. He's cold and soaking wet but the last thing I want to do is not be there for him if he needs me.

I reciprocate his behavior and wrap my arms around him softly. This leads to him beginning to sob into my shoulder. Listening to his sad whimpers cause my heart to ache, and make me want to cry myself.

What is going on?

Finally, I get the courage to speak.

"Cat, what happened?" I softly pat his back.

He pulls away from me gently. "I had a huge fight with my father. I don't know if we're ever going to recover from this one, though."

The words sink into the air, filling the room with silence.

"Oh," comes out of me, as I stare empathically into his glistening eyes.

"-can I ask, what were you fighting about?"

He lets out a big sigh. "Do you mind getting me a towel?"
