Hi everyone here's a short chapter of whiterose in the snow! I hope you enjoy this, I will be doing a longer chapter for the next one sorry for all the short chapters!
Ruby walked through the dorm halls from the roof, carefull not to wake anyone in the hall. She reached her dorm and unlocked the door with her scroll before stepping inside.
She slipped off her slippers she had beem wearing and walked over to her bed, checking that everyome was still asleep she started to climb back into bed… "Ruby?" apparently weiss is good at pretending to sleep.
Ruby stopped climbing and insted hopped down "yeah?" she whispered.
"i-um… Sorry im not sure why i called you…" they both looked each other in the eyes for what felt like hours.
"hey why are you up in the first place?" weiss asked changing the subject.
"oh, I had a nightmare and went for a walk" weiss looked at her concerned.
"you alright?"
"yeah, im ok now im good" there was a comfortable pause in the air as the pair took notice of the moonlight shining into their room and directly onto ruby.
Weiss sat and stared, completly taken back.
"has anyone ever told you how beautiful your eyes are under the moonlight" rubys eyes widend and blood rushed to her cheeks. "i-i mean its just an observation, but your eyes look wonderfull with the moonlight" now it was weiss' turn to blush.
Weiss sat up and gently grasped her arm, tugging her forward and wraping her arms around her partner and rested her head on her.
"you know you can wake me up if you have a nightmare right?" she said in a hushed tone as to not wake the others, Ruby in turn wrapped her arms around weiss and smiled.
"yeah, i know" Ruby felt weiss smile as they stayed in that position for a few moments.
"you know I dont think im gonna be able to sleep by myself tonight, do you mind if i sleep with you?".
Weiss nodded and moved over to give her space while ruby leaned onto the mattress and let herself fall into place in front of weiss.
Silence once again returned as weiss put her arm around rubys waist
"are you alright with this?" weiss asked quietly.
"yeah, i am"
The both smiled as the drifted back to sleep… Without noticing blake being awake of course.
Blake waited until she was sure they were both asleep before getting out her scroll and taking a picture
'thats going in the blackmail folder" she quietly laughed to herself before climbing into bed with yang snuggled close and fell asleep.
