NEXT DAY
Y/n POV
I woke up almost forgetting about the whole Bruno thing, it seemed like a weird fever dream with no end.
Although I would usually have commissions this time of year, I was thankfully free on this particular Saturday. That meant I could enjoy some free time as I awaited Camilo's unpromised arrival, I quickly slipped on my shoes and headed into the kitchen.
"mija you were gone for a while last night, everything go alright?" my mama said placing breakfast on the table
"just a little incident,but otherwise it wasn't bad. Sorry for making you worry" I told her looking down at shoes,my mind wandered thoughts of last night's dinner
"Mija! You okay?" My mama snapped me back into reality
"Ah sorry I just spaced out, I'm gonna take a short walk to clear my mind I promise I'll be back" I said laughing awkwardly and excusing myself from the table.
"Okay well..make sure you come back soon-and if anything is bothering you, you know you can talk to me" she said smiling
"Thank you mama" I said returning a smile and walking out the door.
As I walked out the door, distant voices could be heard from the packed plaza "Crowded again" I said to myself beginning to make my way around town
"It's chilly today" I thought to myself shivering a bit before my attention was caught by a familiar voice
"ah (Y/n) I was just about to come visit you, we are so sorry about the outburst yesterday at dinner our family is in a bit of a quarrel right now. I promise to make it up to you sometime" Julieta held my hands apologetically
"It's really alright,I don't mind" I said nervously
"Mama she said it was okay,rid of your nerves already" a girl's voice laughed behind us.
"Ah Isa! Finish your chores already?" She gave a wide smile
"Yeah now I'm just looking for Tio Bruno,we've searched around most of the encanto but nothing has come up" she said irritated
"Take a break Mija, I know it has been difficult since yesterday" Julieta's face saddened
"You're right" Isabela said beginning to walk away rubbing her temples
"Wait! Isabela!" I called catching up to her
"I know I haven't really talked to you uh ever? Anyway- I know it's none of my business but you said you were looking for Bruno? Is he missing?" I walked beside her trying not to be in her way
Isabela sighed "Well basically Bruno ran away last night and he hasn't shown up since, although I'm not really in the mood for drama today" she looked at the ground sadly.
Although I didn't want to bother her,I was concerned for her well being considering it hadn't gone so we'll with her and Mariano yesterday.
"hey Isabela? I know it isn't my business but after what happened last night, I can tell there's something bothering you with your partner Mariano?" I offered
Isabela stopped walking and sighed again "hah you sure like to talk" she giggled then smiled, "Well if you'd REALLY like to know, how do I know I can trust you?" she asked crossing her arms and raising her brow
"Well uhh, I know a little something about relationship complications, and you aren't really upset about Mariano proposing are you?" I asked her seriously.
Her arms relaxed "you have time to spare muchacha?"
AT THE MADRIGAL CASITA (Isabe!a's room)
"Wow all of these flowers are so beautiful" I said in awe as my eyes wandered around her giant floral room
