THE HOUR OF DUSK

The sky was cloudy enough,
Sun didn't peek even a while!
Weather was a bit chilly.
The streets were wet,
Water was still dripping down the leaves!
The heavy rain created little pools in the potholes.
Not much people showed up on the streets,
Hence it was a quite day
Compared to the other days full of hustle!

I looked outside my window,
Staring at those wet streets.
It was the hour of dusk,
I missed the sunset due to the cluster of clouds
Those let the sun to hide,
Creating a pink-purple aura in the sky.
It was beautiful!

The streets were lighted by then,
As finally the street lights stabled after flickering thrice!
They casted my shadow on the other wall,
It kinda creeped me out a couple of times
As I thought some demon has approached
To abduct me with him to hell!
Though the serenity of the moment calmed me down,
As the pleasant cool breeze carresed my cheeks
And made my hair flew with it's direction!
Letting all my guard down for a while
And the wave of thoughts to not bother me.
Still everything felt messed up in head,
But nothing was chaotic
As if those certain thoughts gone to sleep for few hours!
Unsure of the sense I felt,
Neither happy nor sad,
In head it was just completely blank!

I thought of framing some words,
But they didn't co-operate with me.
Words felt heavy, quite unable to bear!
Ultimately I decided to give up at the time,
Storing the imagery later to pen down
When the words will sit in their reserved places
And ink will beautify them with it's darkness!
