Dear journal entry,
Enmu, Akaza-san, Daki-san, and Gyutaro-san weren't around today so I didn't really do much other than talking with Chrollo for a little bit. Then I got hungry and went to the kitchen (Chrollo didn't come with me since he ate two flies and a cockroach that he caught in his web earlier).
When I arrived at the kitchen, I saw Kokushibo-san mixing something in the bowl. He then noticed that I was there and greeted me. I asked him what he was mixing in the bowl and he told me that he was making some cookies (apparently baking things is a little hobby of his).
I asked Kokushibo-san if I could help with the cookies and he said yes, but only if I cleaned my hands first. After cleaning my hands, I sat on one of those tall chairs near the table where Kokushibo-san was making the cookie dough and awaited for my instructions.
Kokushibo-san handed me the bowl so that I could try mixing it and it was pretty calming. While I was doing that, he grabbed a few baking sheets and pans and placed them on the table. He looked at the bowl and said that I could stop mixing because they were ready to be put onto the pans for baking. I asked him if he meant cooking instead of baking. He looked at me weirdly and told me no, we bake the cookies, not cook them. I then asked that if they're called cookies then why are they baked and not cooked. He didn't answer me for a bit and started to stare into space for ten minutes or so. I almost thought that I accidentally killed his brain or something.
Thankfully, he managed to snap out of it and continued to help me put the cookie dough on the pans. I asked him if I could eat one of the dough balls but he shook his head and told me no. I questioned why and then he told me that one time his apprentice Kaigaku was once baking with him and he made the foolish mistake of letting Kaigaku eat some raw cookie dough. After that, the apprentice became obsessed with the stuff and wouldn't stop eating it.
It was then that we heard rustling in the kitchen and it turned out that someone came out of the cabinets and headed straight to the cookie dough. Kokushibo-san quickly grabbed a pot and wooden spoon and began using them as a shield and weapon. It turned out that this was Kaigaku. Kokushibo-san then bonked Kaigaku on the head, leaving the demon out cold.
After all that happened, Kokushibo-san tied Kaigaku up in his room and returned to help finish baking the cookies.
When the cookies were ready, Kokushibo-san took them out of the oven and fanned them to cool them down. After the cookies had cooled, they were pretty good. I thanked Kokushibo-san for letting me help make the cookies and he gave me a pat on the head in return.
All in all, it was a good day.

All should fear Kaigaku the raw-cookie-dough-eating gremlin.
And now, have Kokushibo the cat with a tray of cookies as thanks for the 1k views.
