I was able to find some people to help with the restoration of the new club. It's a bit more laidback, more chill and more family friendly. It's basically everything that he'd probably never be used to having. Right about now, we're trying to practice for this new show production that we have saved for tonight's new grand opening. New decorations, new staging and possibly, new name?

I wanted to try something different to give it more of a new foundation but I felt as if I was in a different headspace. I kept thinking about the book. Wondering if he has done anything to destroy or maybe even, kept it in a safe place?

I don't know. But I can't stay distracted on it for too long, I have to get the book before Dawn notices. And since NPG is on a hiatus, Kid decided to let me borrow them for the opening night of the club.

"Star? I turned to see that Kid had called me to see what it was that he needed. I walked off the stage and headed upstairs to his room.

"Yeah, Kid. What is it?

"Here." He said as he handed me back the book. Thank you God! In shock, I ask him "Uh...why so soon?" He shrugged his shoulders and said that he wanted to see in a more organic environment with the music and what better way than his built in studio in his bedroom. And also, he actually liked some of the things that I had written in the book.

He wanted me to go into the booth and lay down a good verse or two for his new sound that he thinks is going to have people talking about it. And by going into the booth, I opened the book and waited to find my right place to give my all on this song. It had a little bit of a island vibe/reggae vibe about it that I just couldn't refuse to not jump on.

We spent hours in the studio working over the song and after listening to the final playback, it felt like the start of something adventurous or maybe something, lovely.

"So, what do you think? You ready to show everyone tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think I am." With me still nodding my head to the song, I hadn't of noticed that he was staring at me in the corner of my eye. I turned to him and we stared into each other's eyes for a brief few seconds before we did the unexpected. We kissed each other until I broke away, out of shock, and apologized out of what it seemed to be guilt. I think.

Oh no, what have I done?! I kissed him! He kissed me! We kissed each other!

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't of-"

"No, it's fine. I-I-I should go. And...I'll just let you get back to it and I will see you later on tonight." I said before vanishing.

"Yeah, sure."

"And then, she just stood there and did nothing while everyone was against me !" I explained to Aurora while pacing the floor.

"Okay, so, let me get this straight...Aura and you brought everyone together in the woods for a get together? Only for you to end up being set up by Aura, which is why you hate her ?"

"Yes."

"And then, you ended up getting blamed by Dawn, she kicks you out, and then you ended up meeting the house father, Leo?"

"Yes! Yes! Finally, you get it!"

"Actually, I don't."

"Wait, what?!"

"It's just that, I can't see my sister doing that. She's not the type to do that, Rose!"

"Yeah well, she wasn't the type to do a lot of stuff. But she did it anyway!"

"Rose..." Aurora took a deep breath and said, "I really think that you should reconsider. Maybe this might give you the answer that you need as to why you think that she would do that to you?"

"Really?" I asked in disgust.

"Yes. So, what do you say? Wanna help me find her?"

I don't know about this. Should I do this?

Tonight is the night. The moment for Kid to finally re-establish himself and his club. The house was packed, well, at least I can tell from backstage behind the curtain. I never thought I'd be so nervous all over again and here I am, nervous. Not just about the performance but about the kiss. I couldn't even face him the entire day.

"And now, I have a special friend to help make this place more fun, alright?" Kid said through the microphone, as the host for the night. The crowd grew into a frenzy of cheering and it allowed me to get more of a rush of emotions before heading to the stage. The song played by the band and I grabbed the microphone before making the entrance of starlight.

"Give it up for Starlet!"

Alright, here we go.

After the performance, I walked off the stage and just by the crowd's response, it seemed as if I could sing up there forever. With their constant wants of an encore, I figured why stop now?  I went back on stage and I motioned for the keyboard player to let me borrow the keyboard for this next one.

"Alright, since y'all want more....This is called, 'Sound of Love '" I said through the microphone.
